Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) participated in practice Monday, Aug. 17.
Huddle Up: Smith had been sidelined for nearly two weeks because of the injury, but it seems like he is slow to full strength. He will be the No. 1 receiver for the Eagles this season with A.J. Brown no longer on the team and will be a starting option every week if he is healthy.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is out of practice Tuesday, Aug. 4.
Huddle Up: This is a prove-it year for Smith, who's now the unquestioned No. 1 with A.J. Brown gone. Smith finished with a 77-1,008-4 line last season and wound up the WR19 in PPR leagues. This is a similar scenario to when Antonio Brown left the Pittsburgh Steelers and JuJu Smith-Schuster was the guy. Will he ascend or will he flounder? He's a midrange WR2 in fantasy if you're willing to find out.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith should see extra targets coming his way in 2026 following the trade of WR AJ Brown. Head coach Nick Sirianni is "excited" about the opportunities he will have.
Huddle Up: Smith finished as a low-end WR2 in 2025, but with the departure of Brown now complete, he has a chance to rise up to be a top-end WR2.

WR Darius Cooper had a 9-yard catch on his only target, while WR Jahan Dotson didn't have a catch on his lone target. DB Quinyon Mitchell had two interceptions and three passes defensed, while DE Jalen Carter had three total stops, a solo tackle, a sack, a tackle for loss and a QB hit.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith had three receptions for a team-high 52 yards on four targets in Week 18 against the Washington Commanders.
Huddle Up: Smith will be a fantastic option as a WR2 in postseason fantasy leagues, especially since the Eagles are hopeful of going deep into the playoffs as they look to defend their Super Bowl title.
