Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith posted two receptions for 16 yards on seven targets in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Huddle Up: Smith racked up six grabs for 71 yards and a score last weekend, but it wasn't happening this week. He and Jalen Hurts couldn't get on the same page, and the 49ers were making things difficult all day. Expect growing pains with the rookie, although he is still a very solid WR4 or flex fantasy option in most leagues. The Eagles travel to meet the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 on Monday.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith caught six passes for 71 yards and one touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1. He was targeted eight times during the game.
Huddle Up: Smith will be the main option in the passing game for the Eagles this season even though he is a rookie. He should receive a similar workload each week and can be a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) is expected to play in the team's preseason game Thursday, Aug. 19, against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: It has been a stop-and-go training camp for the 2020 Heisman Trophy winner, who returned to practice earlier this week after missing the preseason opener while dealing with a knee issue. He's a low-end WR3 in drafts with obvious upside.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) will participate in team drills Tuesday, Aug. 17.
Huddle Up: It looks like it's go time for the hyped rookie. He's a low-end WR3 right now, but that stock figures to rise now that he's back on the field.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) is now considered day-to-day after sitting out the last two weeks of training camp and the preseason with a sprained MCL, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said Saturday, Aug. 14. 'I don't want to put a timetable as far as if he'll be ready for (the team's Aug. 19 preseason game), I don't know yet,' Sirianni said. 'He's working hard and working hard to get back and our trainers and our strength staff (are) doing a great job of bringing him back, and so he's day to day. I look forward to seeing him out there in practice soon.'
Huddle Up: Good news for the rookie wideout, who seems to trending in the right direction to be ready to go Week 1. He's a nice low-end WR3 value right now in re-draft league drafts.

Updating an earlier report, Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) has a sprained medial collateral ligament in his knee that will cost him two to three weeks.
Huddle Up: Rookies that miss that much time in training camp generally struggle. So Smith is really going to have to play catch-up to come through as a WR3 in fantasy.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) has a minor knee sprain and should only be out for a couple of weeks.
Huddle Up: That is good news, but this lost time will hurt him in the long run. He's still a WR3 in fantasy, but he's missing valuable reps.

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (leg) sustained a minor leg injury during practice Saturday, July 31.
Huddle Up: Smith could become the Eagles' top receiver in his rookie campaign, given that he already gained experience playing with QB Jalen Hurts in college, in addition to the team possessing few other offensive playmakers on their roster. He has a good chance of seeing enough playing time to warrant consideration as a WR3 option in fantasy leagues.

Alabama WR DeVonta Smith was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 10th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Smith will be reunited with former college quarterback Jalen Hurts, and with Philadelphia's receiving corps currently lacking a go-to weapon, he could become the No. 1 option as a rookie. He should see enough work to warrant WR3 consideration.
