Los Angeles Chargers CB Asante Samuel Jr. (shoulder) said Sunday, Jan. 12 that he expects to be healthy for the offseason program. He didn't play after Week 4 due to a shoulder injury, and he had been dealing with "stinger symptoms" to both shoulder stemming from a collision in practice.

Los Angeles Chargers impending free-agent LB Khalil Mack said Sunday, Jan. 12 that he is unsure about his football future. "Man, it's a lot of different thoughts in my head right now," Mack said. "I can't really speak on a definitive decision in terms of what I'm going to do because I don't know if I'm going to play football moving forward, so there's some things I gotta talk through with my wife, spend some time with my kids and try not to make a rash decision after a (playoff) loss."

Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert completed 14 of his 32 passes for 242 yards, a touchdown and four interceptions in a 32-12 loss to the Houston Texans in their Wild Card playoff game. RB J.K. Dobbins rushed nine times for 26 yards, and Gus Edwards added seven carries for 22 yards. WR Ladd McConkey caught nine passes for 197 yards and a touchdown, and WR Quentin Johnston had zero receptions on five targets. S Derwin James had seven tackles and a fumble recovery, and LB Khalik Mack had six tackles and two sacks.
