Denver Broncos QB Brett Rypien completed 19 of his 31 passes for 242 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions against the New York Jets on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Huddle Up: If nothing else that was a memorable first start for Rypien, who dropped some dimes and also threw some absolutely terrible passes, including one that ended up being a 48-yard touchdown. His late-game struggles put the team on dangerous ground, but the Jets did what they could to help by constantly hitting Rypien late, illegally or both. He'll likely get another start in Week 5, though a Belichick-coached Patriots team will pose a much tougher challenge.

Denver Broncos QB Brett Rypien is expected to be named the starting quarterback for Week 4 against the New York Jets, according to multiple sources.
Huddle Up: A 2019 undrafted free-agent, Rypien saw his first NFL action in Week 3 and completed his first eight passes before throwing an interception on his final attempt of the game. It seems unlikely Rypien will be able to spark the offense and it's a tough ask for him to do it on a short week, but the quality - or lack thereof - of the Broncos' opponent this week might help. Fantasy owners would do well to let this one just play out as opposed to hoping he can be a solid QB2 option in superflex/two-quarterback leagues.
