Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) is doing "outstanding" and "ahead of schedule" in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Week 18 last season, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.
Huddle Up: Watson opened Wednesday's OTA practice on the field while the team was stretching before moving to the rehab field. Based on a report earlier this month, it sounds as though Watson has at least two more months of work ahead of him to have even a small chance at returning at some point during training camp. Watson should not be expected to start the season on time, but it appears a midseason return is possible. When he returns, he will join a crowded receiver room, likely making it difficult for him to be relevant in fantasy.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.
Huddle Up: Watson probably will still not be ready for the start of the 2025 regular season but may be able to return around midseason. Fantasy players should monitor his progress because he will have some fantasy value once he returns to the lineup.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) probably will start the 2025 regular season on the Physically Unable to Perform list, in the opinion of PackersWire's Mark Oldacres.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players can monitor Wilson's rehab but probably will not be able to count on him as an option until the middle of the 2025 season. Matthew Golden and Jayden Reed probably will be the main receivers for the Packers this upcoming season and can be No. 3 or No. 4 receivers in fantasy leagues.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) said he is doing "really well" in his rehab after last season's torn anterior cruciate ligament, speaking with reporters Sunday, May 4. "I'm in a really, really good spot," Watson said. "Just keeping the mentality there. Just working. I've got a couple more months ahead of me, but I'm attacking it every day. I'm in a really good spot."
Huddle Up: Given a pair of wide receivers were drafted, including one in the first round, last month, Watson won't be rushed back. ACL tears aren't as serious for vertical receivers of his nature when compared to players who are more reliant on lateral agility, but fantasy gamers shouldn't count on him in any setting.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) has been impressive in rehab from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor Watson's progress this offseason because there is a chance that he is not ready for the start of the 2025 season. He was productive before the injury and could be a starting option in leagues next season if he can recover from the injury.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) is not likely to be recovered from his torn anterior cruciate ligament by the time the 2025 season starts, according to ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky.
Huddle Up: Considering the injury happened in the regular-season finale, it would be shocking if Watson was ready to go by Week 1. Furthermore, it seems unlikely Watson has any real chance of being a major contributor during the 2025 season since it typically takes athletes at least 12 months to clear the physical and mental hurdles of the injury. As such, Dontayvion Wicks should be the biggest beneficiary in the Green Bay receiving corps because he should enjoy the biggest spike in playing time.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) is the only player on the roster who will have a preexisting injury linger into the 2025 season, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst.
Huddle Up: Watson has not yet undergone surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament and other damage to his knee. He has a long road to recovery and is unlikely to be drafted in 2025 fantasy football leagues.
