Los Angeles Chargers RB Isaiah Spiller carried the ball 16 times for 50 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday, Dec. 14.
Huddle Up: With the Chargers getting blown out of the water Thursday night, Spiller got most of the carries. While it's possible he could leapfrog Joshua Kelley, who lost a fumble in the first quarter, on the depth chart, he'd only ascend to fantasy relevance if Austin Ekeler misses time.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler could find himself in a "competition for carries" amid the team's struggle to run the ball effectively, head coach Brandon Staley told reporters Thursday, Dec. 7. ESPN's Kris Rhim reported that RBs Joshua Kelley and Isaiah Spiller could be in the mix for more carries.
Huddle Up: Ekeler hasn't reached 100 rushing yards in a game since Week 1, and he's failed to reach 70 rushing yards in a game since coming out of the Week 5 bye. If Ekeler's struggles lead to a reduced role, it would mean managers may need to find a pivot option down the stretch.

Los Angeles Chargers WRs Terrell Bynum and Alex Erickson were elevated from the practice squad for Week 11 on Saturday, Nov. 18. In addition, RB Isaiah Spiller (illness) was downgraded from questionable to out.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 11 versus the Green Bay Packers. S JT Woods (illness) was limited in practice all week and has also been ruled out. RB Isaiah Spiller (illness) did not practice on Friday, Nov. 17, and is listed as questionable. WR Jalen Guyton (groin) was limited in practice on Friday and is also listed as questionable. WR Keenan Allen (shoulder) was upgraded to full practice but is also listed as questionable. DE Joey Bosa (hand), S Alohi Gilman (elbow), DL Sebastian Joseph-Day (knee), TE Donald Parham (hip) and OT Rashawn Slater (knee) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
