Dallas Cowboys WR Jalen Tolbert impressed his coaches at rookie minicamp. ''He's awesome,'' offensive coordinator Kellen Moore said of the 2022 third-round pick. ''I think he works his tail off. I think you can tell how prepared he is and how detailed he wants to be. I think he's going to be a really good addition for us.''
Huddle Up: With the uncertainty surrounding Michael Gallup, who is coming off a torn ACL, there's a chance Tolbert earns a decent role behind CeeDee Lamb and Dalton Schultz in his first season. For now, he's a late-round pick in dynasty rookie drafts and a bench stash at best.

Dallas Cowboys WR Jalen Tolbert could earn the No. 2 receiver role in Dallas in his first season, ESPN's Jordan Reid speculates. ''Amari Cooper is gone, and Michael Gallup is recovering from a torn ACL, so Tolbert arrives in a situation where he's likely an instant contributor,'' Reid wrote. ''CeeDee Lamb is the obvious top option, but Tolbert could find himself as the No. 2 target on the perimeter earlier than expected.''
Huddle Up: Even if Gallup ends up not being ready for the start of the season, Tolbert would still have to beat out James Washington for the No. 2 role, and he'll be behind Lamb and tight end Dalton Schultz in the pass-catcher pecking order even if he does. Tolbert is a late-round pick in dynasty rookie drafts and a bench stash until we get more clarity on the Cowboys' situation.
