New York Jets K Jason Sanders has been named the team's kicker for Week 1, according to special teams coordinator Chris Banjo. In a corresponding move, the team waived K Cade York.

Impending free-agent K Cade York (Browns) reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the New York Jets on Wednesday, March 11. Financial terms were not disclosed.
