Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers connected on 17 of his 33 passing attempts for 146 yards, zero touchdowns, and an interception in a loss to the Houston Texans on Wild Card Weekend. Rodgers was sacked four times and fumbled twice, losing one. RB Jaylen Warren had 12 carries for 43 yards; he added a four-yard reception. RB Kenneth Gainwell picked up 20 yards on six carries, and he also caught four passes for 26 yards. WR DK Metcalf had two receptions for 42 yards; he was targeted five times. WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling logged 26 yards on three receptions. WR Adam Thielen posted two receptions for 25 yards. WR Calvin Austin was held to three catches and eight yards. TE Pat Freiermuth had an 18-yard reception for his lone catch, while TE Jonnu Smith turned two receptions into minus-one yard. LB Patrick Queen led the club with 10 tackles, including seven solo. Pittsburgh Steelers WR Adam Thielen had three receptions (on six targets) for 43 yards versus the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18.
Huddle Up: In five games since joining the Steelers, Thielen totaled 11 catches for 117 yards. While he has topped 40 yards in two of his last three games, the veteran holds nominal value in the playoffs with DK Metcalf returning from his two-game suspension.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Adam Thielen caught two of five targets for 14 yards in a Week 17 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Huddle Up: Thielen has played four games with Pittsburgh and has eight catches for 74 yards and no touchdowns.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Adam Thielen had four catches for 49 yards on four targets in Week 16 against the Detroit Lions.
Huddle Up: Thielen proved he can still do it at a high level, and his catches and yardage totals were higher than any other Pittsburgh wideout. Still, heading into Week 17, he can only be trusted as a low-end WR4 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues, with lesser appeal in standard formats.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Adam Thielen caught his only targeted pass for seven yards versus the Miami Dolphins in Week 15.
Huddle Up: Thielen seemed to be on the field a lot on Monday, though much of it was as a blocker. His veteran savvy feels like a good match for Aaron Rodgers, but until he actually catches some passes there's no reason to use a roster spot on him.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Adam Thielen caught his only target for four yards in Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Huddle Up: This was the first game for Thielen since joining the Steelers from Minnesota. The two-time Pro Bowl selection is not relevant in any formats at this points.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Adam Thielen is active for Week 14's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Huddle Up: The 35-year-old Thielen was claimed off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings earlier this week but only has eight receptions for 69 yards in 11 games this season and has been targeted just 18 times. Although he has a good rapport with QB Aaron Rodgers, Thielen can be ignored in fantasy leagues unless he carves out a meaningful role in Pittsburgh.

Free agent WR Adam Thielen (Vikings) was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Huddle Up: Thielen has a connection with QB Aaron Rodgers, which may explain the move being made. That being said, until he carves out a meaningful role in the offense, he can be avoided from being installed in your fantasy lineups.
