Huddle Up: Woods was not a big factor in the passing game but held his fantasy value with a rushing touchdown. He should be able to post better numbers next week and can be at least a No. 2 fantasy receiver.

Los Angeles Rams WR Robert Woods should sign a contract extension 'very shortly,' head coach Sean McVay said Thursday, Sept. 17.

Los Angeles Rams WR Robert Woods had six receptions for 105 yards against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Sept. 13.
Huddle Up: Woods was the main man in LA's passing attack Sunday night, leading the team in targets (eight), receptions and receiving yards -- the latter two he more than doubled the next-highest producer. Some weeks it'll be his night. Others will belong to Cooper Kupp. It all works out to Woods as a steady WR2 with weekly upside.

Los Angeles Rams WR Robert Woods said he has had preliminary contract extension talks with the Rams and wants to finish his career with Los Angeles.

Huddle Up: Woods has posted at least 1,100 yards in each of the last two seasons and will see more targets this upcoming season because of the trade of Brandin Cooks. Woods should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Los Angeles Rams WR Robert Woods led all wide receivers in 2019 with 146 yards on screen passes, according to Pro Football Focus data.
Huddle Up: Woods caught a career-high 90 passes in 2019 but averaged a modest 12.6 yards per catch and scored only two TDs. He might be more involved downfield in 2020 with Brandin Cooks now out of the L.A. picture, but Woods figures to be a better PPR-league fantasy option than a standard-league wideout.

Los Angeles Rams WR Robert Woods caught eight of his 11 targets for 117 yards in a 34-31 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16.
Huddle Up: Woods still has just a single touchdown this year, but he has recorded at least 95 receiving yards in five of his last six games and is over 1,000 yards for the year. He offers a safe floor as a WR2.
