Denver Broncos PK Brandon McManus says he is comfortable with free-agent PK Taylor Bertolet receiving an invitation to training camp. 'I've had another kicker in camp with me every other year,' McManus said recently. 'It's nothing that I'm not used to and it's always good to have someone competing against you. And it's not just (Bertolet). There are 31 other jobs out there and a bunch of others kicking as well.'
Huddle Up: Largely due to the Broncos' offensive struggles in recent seasons, McManus hasn't score more than 100 points since 2016 and remains a low-end PK2 if he manages to hold off Bertolet as expected.

Denver Broncos PK Brandon McManus' $2.25 million salary for 2018 became fully guaranteed on Sunday, March 18.
Huddle Up: McManus, who made just just 75 percent of his field goals in 2017, has seen his total points go down in each of his past two seasons. He ended up with just 99 points in 2017, but could rebound with 100-plus points if the team is better. Kicking well above sea level will always make a Denver kicker a solid fantasy option.

Denver Broncos PK Brandon McManus booted three field goals (38, 35, 28) while adding an extra point in Week 3 at Buffalo.
Huddle Up: The double-digit performance was the first of the season for McManus, who entered just 1-for-3 on field-goal attempts with a total of 12 points through the first two games. Despite his early struggles he is a top fantasy option heading into Week 4 against the Raiders.

Denver Broncos restricted free-agent PK Brandon McManus is participating in the minicamp this week even though he has not signed his tender offer.
Huddle Up: McManus made 29 of his 34 field goal attempts this past season and should be the Broncos kicker again this season. McManus probably should be considered a bye week option in fantasy leagues.

Denver Broncos restricted free-agent PK Brandon McManus has not signed his tender offer at this point because he is hoping to receive a long-term contract this offseason. He has been participating in offseason workouts.
Huddle Up: McManus made 85.3 percent of the field goals this past season, which ranked 14th in the NFL. He plays for a solid offensive team but may only be a bye week option for owners in 2017.

Denver Broncos exclusive rights free-agent PK Brandon McManus signed his tender offer to return to Denver Monday, April 18. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: McManus' fantasy prospects dim slightly as the Broncos transition from their 2014 Peyton-led high-powered offense to their current defense-and-ground-game iteration. There's still the Mile High altitude boost for longer field goals, though, and a defensive force like the Broncos won't be afraid to settle for three so there's still much to like here.

New York Giants PK Brandon McManus was traded to the Denver Broncos Tuesday, Aug. 26, in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft pick. The Broncos then waived rookie PK Mitch Ewald.
Huddle Up: McManus, who gave Josh Brown a strong run for the Giants' starting job, will handle the PK duties for the Broncos while Matt Prater is suspended for the first four games, and will certainly be a draftable commodity given the Broncos' high-scoring offense. McManus has made all 3 of his career preseason FG attempts -- each from 46 yards or longer.
