Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (shoulder) is making good progress in his recovery but there is no timetable for his return, according to head coach Shane Steichen. He has been able to throw as part of his rehab.
Huddle Up: Richardson probably will not do a lot during offseason workouts but probably will be ready for the start of training camp. He was valuable fantasy performer before the injury and likely will be a low-end No. 1 quarterback next season if healthy.

Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (shoulder) is making good progress in his recovery, but general manager Chris Ballard said there is no timetable for his return.

Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (shoulder) resumed throwing on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
Huddle Up: Richardson underwent season-ending shoulder surgery after playing only four games as a rookie. The No. 4 overall pick told reporters in December that he is "progressing way faster than everyone thought" he would. Given the timing of his injury and surgery, it would seem reasonable to expect him back ahead of training camp. Assuming he has learned his lesson and does a better job of avoiding contact as a NFL sophomore, fantasy managers should feel great about him being a high-end QB1 in 2024.

Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (shoulder) said he doesn't need to overhaul his style of play despite suffering an injury last year. "But I don't think I have to change the way I play," Richardson said. "Just being a little smarter."
Huddle Up: Richardson battled injuries throughout his rookie season and only appeared in four games. He did flash his upside in his limited action, accounting for seven total touchdowns with four coming on the ground. Richardson is an injury risk, but his potential as a runner gives him a QB1 ceiling.
