Free-agent RB Giovani Bernard (Bengals) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday, April 12, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Bernard likely will be used primarily as a receiver out of the backfield and will see a handful of targets each game. He could have some value in point-per-reception leagues but can be avoided in most leagues.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard requested and received his release Wednesday, April 7.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard has been inquired about in calls from 'multiple teams,' per a source Thursday, March 25. And unless he receives a restructured contract, Bernard could soon be dealt.
Huddle Up: Due mainly to an injury to lead back Joe Mixon, Bernard hit five-year career highs last season in touches (171), total yards (771) and TDs (6). He's also caught at least 30 passes in each of his eight NFL seasons and could be a RB4 find in the right landing spot.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard rushed for 65 yards on 16 carries against the Houston Texans in Week 16. He also caught seven passes for 66 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Bernard had a big role in the offense this week and was productive for players in all fantasy leagues. He likely will continue to be the starting running back for the Bengals next week and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard ran 25 times for 83 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers while adding one reception for 14 yards and a score in his only target.
Huddle Up: Bernard was outstanding subbing for the injured Joe Mixon yet again. He can be trusted as a RB3 in most fantasy formats heading into Week 16 in Houston as long as Mixon isn't ready to return.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard rushed for three yards on eight carries against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14 but also lost a fumble during the game. He also caught three passes for 15 yards.
Huddle Up: Bernard did not receive a lot of playing time after the fumble and may continue to be part of a committee moving forward. Fantasy players probably will be able to find better options and can keep Bernard on the bench.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard registered 12 runs for 30 yards in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins and he added two receptions for minus-1 yard on two targets.
Huddle Up: Bernard continues to see regular touches and head up the backfield with Joe Mixon (foot) inactive, but he isn't doing a whole lot to warrant fantasy consideration outside of the deepest PPR leagues heading into Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard rushed eight times for a team-high 32 yards in Week 12 against the New York Giants while adding two receptions for 17 yards on three targets.
Huddle Up: Bernard continues to hold down the fort with Joe Mixon (foot) inactive, but he didn't do much from a fantasy perspective yet again. He is only worth a look as a low-end RB3 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins if Mixon is out again.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard (concussion) is officially active for the Week 12 game.
Huddle Up: Bernard should be able to handle his normal workload this week and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in fantasy leagues.
