Los Angeles Rams RB Zach Evans has gotten "better and better" in practice, according to head coach Sean McVay, who added he is "intrigued" about Evans' potential to get more carries in the second half of the season.
Huddle Up: LA doesn't look like a contender, so it certainly would make sense for McVay to look at younger guys like Evans over retreads like Darrell Henderson and Royce Freeman once the Rams fall out of the playoff picture. Of course, assuming Kyren Williams comes back, an increased role for Evans might not even make ripples for fantasy owners.

Los Angeles Rams RB Zach Evans is not active for Week 8's game versus the Dallas Cowboys.
Huddle Up: The Rams are expected to have Royce Freeman and Darrell Henderson split the bulk of the carries again this week, with Myles Gaskin possibly seeing a few touches as well. Freeman and Henderson could be used as flex options in deeper fantasy leagues, while Gaskin probably won't see enough playing time to warrant inclusion in fantasy starting lineups.

Los Angeles Rams RBs Royce Freeman and Darrell Henderson are expected to split the bulk of the carries in Week 7's game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. RB Zach Evans is also likely to see a handful of touches.
Huddle Up: The Rams' top two running backs, Kyren Williams (ankle) and Ronnie Rivers (knee), are both on injured reserve, meaning that the team will have to resort to a committee approach this afternoon. Freeman and Henderson could be used as flex options in deeper fantasy leagues, while Evans probably won't see enough playing time to warrant inclusion in fantasy starting lineups.

Los Angeles Rams RB Zach Evans has "some special traits" and has a skillset that complements RB Cam Akers and the other running backs on the roster, according to head coach Sean McVay.
Huddle Up: The Rams have been looking for a big-play threat in a backfield that lacks a true star, and there is a chance Evans could fill the void. He could be worth a gamble in the third-round of rookie drafts.

Mississippi RB Zach Evans was selected by the Los Angeles Rams with the 215th overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players should keep an eye on Evans' situation during training camp to see if he will have a role in the offense. He probably can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.
