Pittsburgh Steelers TE Darnell Washington posted career highs of four catches, four targets and 36 receiving yards in Week 7 versus the New York Jets.
Huddle Up: Washington has established himself as a very good blocking tight end, so it is difficult to read too much into his production this week. With that said, he is doing a little in the passing game lately for the Steelers, which is one of the bigger reasons why Pat Freiermuth isn't having a better statistical season. Nevertheless, Washington should remain on waivers.

Pittsburgh Steelers OG Isaac Seumalo (pectoral) and DT Logan Lee (calf) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons. WR Roman Wilson (ankle) was limited in practice all week but has also been ruled out. QB Russell Wilson (calf) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Friday, Sept. 6, and is listed as questionable. CB Cory Trice (groin), RB Jaylen Warren (hamstring), OT Troy Fautanu (knee) and TE Darnell Washington (knee) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Darnell Washington said there is a "strong possibility" that he will be more involved in the passing game this season. "I feel like I got more than just a run blocker," Washington said. "I just have to keep building and show Arthur Smith that I'm a guy that he can trust and he put me in whatever position he decides."
