Atlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson said he wants to reach 2,000 yards rushing in 2024. Robinson had 408 yards after contact (14th) and 15 broken tackles (tied for 15th). He also had more yards after the catch (519) than receiving yards (487) in his rookie season.
Huddle Up: Robinson was the RB8 in PPR leagues during his rookie season. The team sounds like they plan to run the ball often, and coming in at RB8 with just 974 rushing yards bodes well for his chances to enter the top five at the position.

The Atlanta Falcons were fined $75,000 and head coach Arthur Smith was fined $25,000 for violating the NFL Injury Report Policy before the team's Week 7 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to sources Friday, Dec. 22. The fine pertains to the mishandling of RB Bijan Robinson's illness that went unreported prior to the game.

Atlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson rushed seven times for just 11 yards in Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers, while adding a single 3-yard catch on three touches, and he also lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: There was no injury to Robinson, but he managed just 1.6 yards per carry in the rain, wind and slop at Bank of America Stadium, and Tyler Allgeier was slightly more effective in the adverse weather conditions. Robinson will look to rebound indoors at home against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16.

Atlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson is "going to have a huge role in our game plan" in Week 12 against the New Orleans Saints, according to head coach Arthur Smith.
Huddle Up: Much to the dismay of his fantasy managers, Robinson was averaging only 12.8 carries through his first eight games as a pro (removing his one-touch game in Week 7 when he barely played due to illness). That changed in Week 10 as the rookie handled 22, and it appears that will be the case moving forward. Robinson publicly defended Smith recently, thanking Smith for "getting a rookie in the right way." Fantasy managers should not be surprised if Robinson is one of the most heavily utilized backs over the second half of the season.
