On the heels of a Week 3 performance where he had 203 rushing yards, Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane is expected to see increased playing time and a heavier workload, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Miami has a great deal of depth at running back, with Raheem Mostert also playing well through the first three games of the regular season. Both players should be viewed as viable starting options in all fantasy formats. The Dolphins also have Salvon Ahmed (groin) and Jeff Wilson Jr. (rib, finger) on their roster, the latter of whom is likely to be activated from the PUP list in order to resume practicing soon, so a productive timeshare situation will soon get even more crowded.

Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane will be part of a "hot hand" situation at running back, a source told Dan Graziano of ESPN.com.
Huddle Up: The entire Miami offense has been hot to start to the year, but Achane, Raheem Mostert, and eventually Jeff Wilson Jr. will all be fighting for touches. Achane's upside is undeniable after his monster Week 3, but don't be surprised if he ends up being a boom-or-bust option overall.

Miami Dolphins RBs De'Von Achane (8.5) and Raheem Mostert (4.7) rank first and third, respectively, among all qualified players in yards per carry before contact.
Huddle Up: For reference, 3.0 is typically a very good mark. Yes, Achane is benefiting from small sample size against a poor defense, but Mostert's mark is a clear indication that Miami is playing chess while the rest of the NFL world is playing checkers. Expect life to get tougher for both backs this week against the Bills, but it is clear the Dolphins are a fantasy goldmine for running back production right now. Mostert and Achane need to be started in fantasy regardless, although things could become a bit more unpredictable starting next week if/when Jeff Wilson (rib, finger) is activated from IR.

Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane rushed 18 times for 203 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos, and he added four grabs for 30 yards and two touchdowns on his four targets in a blowout victory at home.
Huddle Up: Achane had an amazing stat line, and it's hard to believe he won't have a role going forward. However, Raheem Mostert also had three rushing touchdowns and four total scores, and the Miami offense piled up 70 points. Pump the brakes, and don't kill your FAAB budget trying to get Achane, although he is certainly worth grabbing if available on the waiver wire. He showed off that tremendous speed he displayed the NFL combine, and the rookie could be a fantasy stud should anything happen to Mostert.

Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 15, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.
Huddle Up: Achane appears to have recovered from his shoulder injury, but it is not known if he will be active for the Week 2 game. Fantasy players may want to avoid Achane until he plays in a game or two.

Miami Dolphins OT Terron Armstead (back, ankle, knee), DB Elijah Campbell (knee), TE Julian Hill (ankle) and LB Jaelan Phillips (back) were limited in practice on Friday, Sept. 15, and are listed as questionable for Week 2 against the New England Patriots. RB De'Von Achane (shoulder), CB Xavien Howard (thumb), S Brandon Jones (knee), RB Raheem Mostert (knee), WR Jaylen Waddle (oblique) and OL Connor Williams (knee) practiced in full on Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane's status to be active in Week 2 is still up in the air, per sources Friday, Sept. 15.
Huddle Up: Achane was a healthy scratch in Week 1 but also is coming off a preseason shoulder injury. The rookie will eventually get his time, but managers may need to avoid starting him this week, especially considering the game is Sunday night.

Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 14.
Huddle Up: It is not known if Achane will be active for the Week 2 game, but he probably will see limited touches if he plays. He can be avoided in fantasy leagues until he is more involved in the offense.
