Minnesota Vikings QB Jaren Hall and QB Nick Mullens both received playing time during the Week 17 game, but head coach Kevin O'Connell said he is not ready to name the starter for Week 18 even though he has made a decision on who will start.
Huddle Up: Mullens replaced Hall in the second half of the last game, but neither quarterback had much success. Joshua Dobbs could also be a possible candidate for the job, but fantasy players should avoid all of the Vikings quarterbacks.

Minnesota Vikings QB Jaren Hall was named the starting quarterback for Week 17 against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, Dec. 28.
Huddle Up: Hall famously drew his first career start in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons before an early injury paved the way for Joshua Dobbs to go on a short QB1 run for the Vikings. The 2023 fifth-round draft pick's second career start will come in a must-win game for Minnesota. Expect a mostly conservative game plan for Hall as head coach Kevin O'Connell has likely too many high-turnover efforts from his quarterbacks for his liking. Hall is not an option for managers in fantasy championship week.

Minnesota Vikings QBs Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall split reps during the open portion of practice on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Huddle Up: This would seem to indicate that QB Joshua Dobbs is not in the running for the starting gig in Week 17, but he was not a viable starting option, anyway. Mullens had a good fantasy showing in Week 16, but neither he nor Hall are suggested lineup options.

CB Akayleb Evans (calf) was a full participant at practice and is questionable. LB Brian Asamoah (ankle), QB Jaren Hall (concussion) and QB Nick Mullens (back) were full participants at practice and carry no designation.
