New Orleans Saints S J.T. Gray (hamstring), OT Landon Young (hip), OT James Hurst (ankle), OT Ryan Ramczyk (concussion) and LB Demario Davis (knee) did not participate in practice Monday, Oct. 16. S Lonnie Johnson (hamstring), DE Cameron Jordan (back), S Tyrann Mathieu (foot) and OG Andrus Peat (groin) were limited during practice. QB Jake Haener (non-injury) fully participated in practice. The Saints did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.

New Orleans Saints fourth-round draft choice QB Jake Haener (Fresno State) signed a four-year contract on Tuesday, May 16. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

Fresno State QB Jake Haener was selected by the New Orleans Saints with the 127th overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Haener likely will serve as the backup to Derek Carr for the next few seasons but could be the long-term starter for the Saints. He will have value in keeper leagues.
