Arizona Cardinals RB Emari Demercado rushed twice for 29 yards and caught one pass for 28 yards in a 37-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Even with all the injuries to the Arizona backfield this season, Demercado was unable to carve out a significant role in the offense. If he couldn't find fantasy relevance for the Cardinals this season, it seems unlikely to happen in any situation.

Huddle Up: Demercado has received a similar workload over the last few weeks but was not able to find much success against the Bengals. He will likely see a limited workload next week and can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: After being given just one carry last week in his return from injury, Demercado saw a slight uptick in usage against the Falcons. However, he is clearly operating as the backup to Michael Carter, and unless Carter misses time, Demercado is only a stash candidate.

Huddle Up: Demercado did nothing in this game, with very little usage, but that could change if Bam Knight is forced to miss time. Trey Benson was ruled out for the season, and Knight left after one touch. That leaves Michael Carter and Demercado as the top options in the run game for Arizona heading into Week 16. Demercado might be worth a look if Knight is ruled out.

His fantasy value is limited to deeper fantasy leagues at this point, especially since he is splitting carries with Bam Knight and Michael Carter and may not be at full strength.

Huddle Up: It looks like Demercado will return to action, but unfortunately for his sake, he is returning against one of the toughest defenses in the NFL. Between the unappealing matchup and the fact that he will be part of a backfield committee, Demercado is too risky to use in fantasy formats in Week 15.

Huddle Up: Demercado being out means that the Cardinals' rushing attack is not likely to be a factor. Look for players like Trey McBride to make an impact with a heavier workload.
