Houston Texans DE Will Anderson Jr. (hand), DT Folorunso Fatukasi (foot), OG Shaq Mason (knee), OG Juice Scruggs (foot) and S Jimmie Ward (foot) did not participate in practice Sunday, Dec. 22. DE Denico Autry (knee), LB Christian Harris (ankle), WR John Metchie (shoulder) and TE Cade Stover (illness) were limited during practice. OG Nick Broeker (hand) fully participated in practice. The Texans did not hold a practice Sunday, so the practice report is an estimation.

WR Xavier Hutchinson (shoulder) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. DE Will Anderson Jr. (ankle), DE Denico Autry (knee), LB Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), OT Blake Fisher (concussion) and S Jimmie Ward (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Houston Texans SS Jimmie Ward is expected to be plugged into the starting lineup in Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in place of the injured S Jalen Pitre (pectoral). Ward stepped in during the Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans after Pitre went down, and Ward recorded a 65-yard interception return for touchdown.
