Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. caught four passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, Sept. 17. He was targeted a team-high six times.
Huddle Up: Beckham caught a 43-yard touchdown strike from Baker Mayfield and almost had another one when the defensive back got away with grabbing OBJ's jersey. It was a better look from the star wideout after a disappointing debut. He's still not producing WR1 numbers, but at least Beckham seems to be trending in the right direction.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. was limited to just three catches and 22 yards in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens although he was targeted a game-high 10 times.
Huddle Up: Baker Mayfield tried to get it to OBJ, but the Ravens were having none of it. The Browns will be back to the drawing board trying to figure out a better plan in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals on a short week Thursday.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. said Thursday, Sept, 10, that he's currently able to run full speed and do other things physically that he couldn't a year ago.
Huddle Up: For fantasy, the truth will be told on the field after OBJ disappointed deeply in his Browns debut a season ago. He's a WR2 for now until proven otherwise.

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield believes he is 'on the same page' with Odell Beckham Jr. and that both players are 'in a better state' after the team dealt with a lot of adversity last season.
'(Our chemistry) is sure ... going to be a lot better than last year. We're just on the same page, things we talked about. There was a lot going on within the building last year. We're not going to get into that, but we're both in a better state. He's healthy; surgery was successful, thank God. He's feeling great. He's in a great state of mind,' Mayfield told NFL Media.
Huddle Up: Mayfield struggled mightily due to some terrible offensive line play, which was addressed in a big way this offseason. Beckham is reportedly 100 percent after dealing with a core muscle injury for the bulk of his first season in Cleveland. It should come as no surprise if Beckham returns to the same high-end WR1 form he regularly displayed earlier in his career if can stay healthy this season, while Mayfield should bounce back and be a solid QB2 for fantasy purposes.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. does not plan to opt-out of the 2020 season after making comments last month on his YouTube channel and again to the Wall Street Journal about the sensibility of playing through a pandemic.
Huddle Up: It should be noted Beckham, who reported to training camp last week, was reportedly pleased with the health and safety protocols the Browns have implemented and has been a full participant in camp activities. With Jarvis Landry's recovery from hip surgery putting him in a spot where he may not 100 percent for Week 1, Cleveland could use a fast start from Beckham. Consider him an upside fantasy WR2 with obvious WR1 upside.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. stressed on Twitter Monday, June 29, he's committed to playing for the Browns for at least the upcoming 2020 season. 'U can find me in The LAND homie! We got unfinished business,' Beckham wrote in a reply to Los Angeles Dodgers P Alex Wood who wrote '@obj to the Patriots before the season is done. BANK IT!'

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. (core) is 'free and clear' following core muscle surgery, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Stefanski added Beckham is '100 percent and looking really good.'
Huddle Up: Beckham will likely still need to get some reps in training camp to get back to game shape, but he stands to be a value in 2020 fantasy drafts following a 1,035-yard, four-touchdown 2019 season that was deemed a disappointment by many.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. is receiving strong praise from offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt. 'He's a worker,' Van Pelt said about Beckham's participation in the offseason program. 'He loves football. He's smart as hell. He's just been a model guy this offseason.'
Huddle Up: OBJ was a huge disappointment in his first season in Cleveland, but he's still only 27, and if he can stay healthy, a WR1 rebound season isn't out of question. Take a shot if he starts falling too far in your draft.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. has been fully involved in the virtual meetings this offseason and has been great to work with, according to offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt.
Huddle Up: Beckham is still one of the top receivers in the NFL and could have more success this season with a new offensive scheme. He should be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues in 2020.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. struggled for the bulk of the 2019 season for several reasons - including a core muscle injury - but another factor that contributed to his poor first year with Cleveland was that only 59.7 percent of his targets were deemed catchable, according to Pro Football Focus. Over his first five seasons with the New York Giants, his catchable target percentage was 64.9.
Huddle Up: A lot of things went wrong for the Browns last season, so while this statistic would suggest Baker Mayfield is to blame, the truth of the matter is that he was only part of the problem. Beckham was rarely ever healthy and the offensive line didn't hold up its end of the bargain either, contributing to a number of Mayfield's off-target throws. Beckham should be expected to bounce back in a big way and be a strong WR1 option in 2020, especially if he can avoid another injury-plagued campaign.
