New York Giants WRs Calvin Austin III, Isaiah Hodgins and JuJu Smith-Schuster are battling to serve as backups to the top three starting WRs Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton and Darnell Mooney. Rookie draft pick WR Malachi Fields is also expected to be either third or fourth on the depth chart. WR Odell Beckham Jr. was brought in trying to rekindle his career, so he is also in the mix.
Huddle Up: We've seen Austin, Smith-Schuster and Beckham Jr. on fantasy rosters before, but those days are likely over. Barring an injury or two to the top options on the depth chart, none of these players should be used outside of the deepest of leagues.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. being back with the team has generated a lot of buzz with the fans, but he is not expected to be the same kind of playmaker as he was during his first stint with the organization.
Huddle Up: Beckham will have a minimal role with Malik Nabers, Darnell Mooney and Darius Slayton atop the depth chart. ODB will be battling NFL veterans Calvin Austin III, Braxton Berrios, Isaiah Hodgins and JuJu Smith-Schuster, as well as rookie Malachi Fields, simply for a roster spot. Don't overvalue Beckham because of his name, and what he used to do. His fantasy appeal is limited to the deepest of leagues at this juncture.

Free-agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. (Dolphins) signed with the New York Giants Monday, June 1. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Beckham will have to earn a spot on the roster during training camp and is not expected to be a big part of the passing game. He can be avoided in fantasy leagues unless he receives a bigger role.

Free-agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. (Dolphins) remains in contact with the New York Giants, but head coach John Harbaugh said the team will "play it out over the next month and into training camp" before making a decision on whether or not to sign the mercurial receiver. He worked out for the team, and Harbaugh said he "looked good".
Huddle Up: The team has Malik Nabers coming back from a major injury, while Darius Slayton is also recovering from core muscle surgery. Malachi Fields was drafted, while veterans Calvin Austin III and Darnell Mooney were brought in. Even if ODB was to find his way back to the Giants, his role would likely be minimal at best. Fantasy managers need to pay him little mind at this point.
