Free-agent WR Davante Adams (Jets) officially signed a two-year contract reportedly worth $46 million with the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, March 13.
Huddle Up: Adams may have just turned 32 years old in December, but it is safe to say he hasn't lost much of a step. He is the caliber of receiver that should be considered at least on par with Puka Nacua in terms of the pecking order in the passing game, which is great for the Rams but could keep both receivers from being consistent WR1s in fantasy. Assuming he stays healthy again in 2025, Adams should be considered a strong WR2 option in fantasy.

Free-agent WR Davante Adams (Jets) agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams Sunday, March 9, worth $46 million, according to sources. The deal includes $26 million in guaranteed money.
Huddle Up: Adams probably will replace Cooper Kupp in the offense and will be a terrific duo along with Puka Nacua in the passing game. He should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues next season.

Updating a previous report, New York Jets WR Davante Adams was released on Tuesday, March 4.
Huddle Up: This was always the most likely scenario considering he was set to count at least $35 million against the cap. His release will free up almost $30 million on the cap for the Jets, who were apparently unable to find another team to take on his salary for a Day 3 pick. Adams is unlikely to be out of work for long and will likely find his new home once Aaron Rodgers decides on his new employer. Adams is still more than capable of being a solid fantasy WR1 wherever he lands, although he is now more of a low-end WR1 at age 32.

New York Jets WR Davante Adams has been made available to teams in a trade, and Jets are receiving calls about Adams, according to sources. Adams is expected to be released if they are not able to find a trade.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players should monitor the situation to see if a team decides to acquire Adams or if teams will wait until he hits the free-agent market. He is still a productive receiver and will be a starter no matter where he plays. Adams likely will be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues in 2025.

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers, who is expected to be released at some point this offseason, reportedly prefers to sign with the Los Angeles Rams if Matthew Stafford is traded, according to multiple sources. Furthermore, multiple sources suggest Rodgers could convince WR Davante Adams, who is scheduled to count $38.34 million against New York's salary cap in 2025, to join him with the Rams in the likely event Adams is released.
Huddle Up: There is a lot to digest here, although it depends entirely on Stafford getting traded. It was reported about a week ago that Rodgers would be a fallback option for the Rams if they get a haul they like in return for their quarterback, but it sounds like the interest between Rodgers and the team is mutual. Perhaps the bigger news from a fantasy perspective is the potential inclusion of Adams, who would probably make Puka Nacua a less attractive fantasy asset in a Rodgers-led offense. Rodgers' days for vying for league MVP honors are long gone, but he could still be a decent fantasy QB2 option in a Sean McVay-led offense.

New York Jets WR Davante Adams, San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel and Chicago Bears WR Keenan Allen are all players the Arizona Cardinals could target if they become available this offseason, according to Dan Graziano of ESPN.

New York Jets WR Davante Adams would be open to signing with the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers if he is released by the Jets this offseason, according to ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler.
Huddle Up: It seems like there is a good chance that the Jets do not bring Adams back next season, so he likely will receive interest from several teams. He should be one of the main targets in the passing game wherever to plays in 2025 and will be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

New York Jets WR Davante Adams may be a cut candidate this offseason because of his salary cap number, and the team's decision not to bring QB Aaron Rodgers back, according to sources.
Huddle Up: It seems like Adams will be looking for a new team this offseason, so fantasy players should keep an eye on his situation. He has been linked to a few West Coast teams if he became available and could also look to join Aaron Rodgers with a new team. Adams is still a productive receiver and will be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues no matter where he plays.

New York Jets WR Davante Adams has not talked with the team since they have hired general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn. It is not known if Adams will be playing for the Jets next season.
Huddle Up: Adams' future with the Jets should become clear over the next few weeks, so fantasy players should monitor the situation. He is still one of the better receivers in the NFL and will be a weekly starting option in all leagues no matter where he plays in 2025.

New York Jets WR Davante Adams is open to remain with the Jets next season even if QB Aaron Rodgers is not on the team.
Huddle Up: Adams played very well after joining the Jets but may not stay with the team this offseason. Fantasy players should monitor the situation because Adams will be a starter no matter where he signs and likely will be a weekly fantasy option in all leagues.
