Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams is a candidate for a contract extension this offseason because the team can reduce his 2021 salary cap number with a new contract.
Huddle Up: Adams has been one of the top receivers in the NFL for the last several season and will continue his strong play next season if Aaron Rodgers returns. He should be one of the first receivers selected in fantasy drafts next season.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams led the NFL with 23 red zone receptions and 14 red zone touchdowns in 2020, and his 46 red zone touchdowns since 2016 are 17 more than any other player.
Huddle Up: Adams led the NFL with 18 receiving touchdowns, tied for second with 115 receptions and finished in a tie for fifth in receiving yards. His status as the unquestioned go-to target for Aaron Rodgers should continue to make him one of the safest fantasy options at any position for the foreseeable future.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams has been out of practice this week, but 'it's just rest,' head coach Matt LaFleur said Friday, Jan. 9, adding that he has no concerns on Adams' availability for the team's NFC divisional-round playoff game next weekend.
Huddle Up: Adams is immensely valuable to the Packers' Super Bowl chances after leading the league with 18 receiving TDs and an average of 98.1 receiving yards per game. We'll certainly monitor Adams' status next week to be sure, but count on him being formidably fresh for the divisional round.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams hauled in 11 passes for 142 yards and three touchdowns during the team's Week 16 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Huddle Up: Coming off his worst performance of 2020, Adams rebounded in a huge way as he was on the receiving end of three of Rodgers' four TD passes and added an incredible sideline catch in the fourth quarter as an exclamation point. He posted a relatively quiet 6-61-1 line against the Bears the last time he faced them, but Adams has long been a matchup-proof WR1 and Week 17 is no exception.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams caught seven of his 10 targets for 42 yards in Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers.
Huddle Up: Adams entered this contest on an eight-game scoring streak and had obviously set an incredibly high bar with his play up to this point. While the Panthers did a great job of getting him on the ground on short grabs that typically allow him to create yards after the catch, it was stunning to see Aaron Rodgers unable to find his favorite receiver over the middle of the field at least once or twice. Assuming his fantasy owners can overcome this performance, Adams will be in the overall WR1 conversation in Week 16 versus the Tennessee Titans.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams caught seven passes for 115 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets Sunday, Dec. 13, at the Detroit Lions in Week 14.
Huddle Up: Adams never leaves lineups, and he faces a Carolina defense next week that is plenty exploitable. Enjoy the scoring consistency as he helps carry you toward a championship. The Panthers have let up more WR touchdowns than games played in 2020.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams had 10 receptions for 121 yards and a pair of touchdowns during the team's Week 13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. He was targeted 12 times.
Huddle Up: You gotta feel bad for Darius Slay, who had to shadow DK Metcalf on Monday and then Adams just six days later. Adams was on top of his game after a bit of a shaky performance against Chicago, opening the scoring with a contested catch over Slay and then being on the receiving end of Rodgers' 400th career TD later on. He posted a season-low 36 receiving yards against Detroit back in Week 2, but he missed a good chunk of the game with a hamstring injury that sidelined him for nearly a month. Keep Adams in your lineup as a high-end WR1.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams had six receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Nov. 29.
Huddle Up: It wasn't a great game for Adams, who Rodgers missed for what would've likely been an 80-yard TD early and then couldn't haul in what looked like a very catchable ball late. On the bright side, Adams extended his touchdown streak to six games. Next week he draws the Eagles, which he posted 10 catches and 180 yards against in a meeting last season. He's a high-end WR1.

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 27, but is not on the injury report for Week 12.
Huddle Up: Adams should see his normal workload this week and likely will see plenty of targets in the passing game. He should be a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues.
