San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo finished 17-of-25 for 297 yards and three touchdowns to go along with one interception in Week 2 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. He added four carries for eight yards.
Huddle Up: Garoppolo's attempts and completion percentage were similar to Week 1, but the overall results were much different. Perhaps the most impressive part of this performance was that he didn't have to rely too heavily on George Kittle (three targets). Garoppolo still can't be considered anything more than a QB2 for fantasy purposes at the moment, but this is a step in the right direction. He'll get another chance to prove himself in Week 3 at home against the winless Pittsburgh Steelers.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo finished 18-of-27 for 166 yards and a touchdown to go along with an interception in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Huddle Up: Garoppolo did a fine job of connecting with George Kittle, but that was about the only good thing he did with any consistency. It's hard to condemn any player after one game, but he also didn't look quite right in the preseason either. Consider him a low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals next week.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo completed 14 of his 20 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in the preseason Saturday, Aug. 24.
Huddle Up: After a horrible preseason debut, Garoppolo looked sharp in his second appearance. The 49ers added a bunch of weapons this offseason, but Garoppolo is still an unproven commodity. Consider him a midrange QB2 with upside.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo hopefully will play around a half during the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 24, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Huddle Up: Garoppolo is coming off a disappointing preseason game but is still working his way back from a serious knee injury. Fantasy players probably should consider Garoppolo a No. 2 fantasy quarterback that can be a bye week replacement.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo (knee) made his preseason debut Monday, Aug. 19 against the Denver Broncos. He completed just one of his six pass attempts for zero yards and an interception.
Huddle Up: Jimmy G had a rough practice earlier in the week, and he looked rusty in his first game action in nearly a year. He'll have a quick turnaround for the all-important third preseason game next weekend. He remains more of a low-end QB2 at this point for fantasy owners in leagues of 12 or more teams, but he has some upside if he can get back to his pre-injury form.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo completed one of his six pass attempts for zero yards and an interception in a 24-15 preseason win over the Denver Broncos Monday, Aug. 19.
Huddle Up: Garoppolo saw his first game action since suffering a knee injury last September, and he looked more than a little rusty. It is also a reminder that the jury remains out on his potential as a starter. The 49ers upgraded their offensive personnel this offseason, but Garoppolo has just 10 starts under his belt. He should be drafted as a QB2 with upside.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo (knee) won't be fully cleared for full-team drills until training camp, in part, because the team doesn't want to risk having defenders around his legs. Garoppolo has done work in 7-on-7 drills.
Huddle Up: Jimmy G will be a midrange option at the position in fantasy with maybe a little upside.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo (knee) said he likely will wear a brace on his surgically repaired knee this upcoming season.
Huddle Up: Garoppolo is expected to be ready for training camp as long as he does not suffer any setbacks in his recovery. He has played well in the past and could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in some deeper leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo (knee), coming off an ACL tear, should be cleared for full participation at the start of training camp, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Huddle Up: Garoppolo first full season in San Fran only lasted three starts, but given Kyle Shanahan's system and the QB's promising 2017 finish, Garoppolo has definite QB1 potential and is worth a late mid-round draft gamble.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo is working to recover from the ACL tear that cut his 2018 season short, and his progress has impressed head coach Kyle Shanahan. 'He looks good, I'm not allowed to be working with him right now, but I was in the office a couple of days ago, I was stalking him while watching him out my window,' Shanahan said Friday, Feb. 1, during an interview with San Francisco radio station KNBR. 'He actually surprised me, he was running around, throwing, doing some stuff out of the pocket. I even had to call our trainer and ask 'should he be moving that much?' and he said he should be. It's cool to see.'
Huddle Up: By all continuing indications, Garoppolo's rehab progress appears to be ahead of schedule, and he'll be a solid QB1 sleeper candidate in drafts this summer.
