Free-agent PK Nick Sciba is signing to the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad and will be elevated for Week 8, per source on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Huddle Up: Sciba will take over for the injured Chris Boswell, but the undrafted free agent has never attempted a kick in the NFL. Stay far away from this one.

Huddle Up: Boswell, who has been a top-12 option at the position in 2022, was a new addition to the injury report on Friday. Pittsburgh doesn't have another kicker on its roster but whoever is brought in last-second isn't a suggested lineup option for Week 8.

PK Chris Boswell (groin) was added to the injury report and did not practice Friday, Oct. 28, and is listed as questionable. CB Josh Jackson (groin) was limited in practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. CB Ahkello Witherspoon (hamstring), DT Montravius Adams (hamstring), WR Steven Sims (hamstring), TE Pat Freiermuth (ankle) and DT Cameron Heyward (rest) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
