New York Giants TE Theo Johnson (foot) recently underwent surgery to repair his injured foot, according to head coach Brian Daboll.
Huddle Up: Johnson was playing well before the injury and should have a good chance to start next season. He can be at least a No. 2 tight end in fantasy leagues next season depending on his role in the offense.

New York Giants TE Theo Johnson (foot) was placed on the season-ending Reserve/Injured list Monday, Dec. 2.

New York Giants TE Theo Johnson caught five passes for 54 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. He was targeted five times during the game.
Huddle Up: Johnson has been receiving a bigger role in the passing game over the last few weeks and has been targeted at least five times in each of the last four games. He probably is only a No. 2 tight end at this point but could become a low-end No. 1 tight end in some deeper leagues in the near future.
