Los Angeles Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (hip) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Huddle Up: McConkey was able to play in the last game despite the injury and should have a good chance to play again if he practices later in the week. He has received at least six targets in five of his six games this season and can be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Ladd McConkey ended up with five receptions for 46 yards on seven targets in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Huddle Up: The rookie has managed four or more receptions in each of the past three games, while racking up 43 or more receiving yards in each outing. He has emerged as a decent low-end WR3 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues, with slightly lesser appeal in standard play.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (hip) is officially active for the Week 7 game.
Huddle Up: McConkey should be one of the main options in the passing game this week. He has posted at least 50 yards in only one game this season but could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (hip) was a limited participant in practice for the third straight day on Saturday, Oct. 19, and is questionable for Week 7.
Huddle Up: The lack of a full practice this week suggests McConkey is on the wrong side of questionable. With Quentin Johnson (ankle) doubtful, the Chargers could be very short-handed at wide receiver if McConkey sits. Joshua Palmer could see a big uptick in work if both are out, but as is the case with all Chargers pass-catchers, he still can't be trusted in lineups outside of the most desperate situations

Los Angeles Chargers DB Deane Leonard (hamstring) did not practice on Saturday, Oct. 19, and was ruled out for Week 7. Also, TE Hayden Hurst (groin), WR Quentin Johnston (ankle) and LB Joey Bosa (hip) did not practice and are listed as doubtful, WR DJ Chark Jr. (groin), WR Derius Davis (hamstring), CB Kristian Fulton (hamstring), WR Ladd McConkey (hip) and DB Ja'Sir Taylor (fibula) were limited and are questionable, WR Simi Fehoko (shoulder, groin) practiced in full but is questionable and TE Will Dissly (shoulder), OG Zion Johnson (ankle) and OT Trey Pipkins (shoulder) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (hip) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 18.
Huddle Up: McConkey seems to have a decent chance to play in Week 7, but fantasy players should check on his status after the final practice of the week. He has been targeted at least six times in four of the five games this season and can be a possible flex option in fantasy leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (hip) was a limited participant in practice on Thursday, Oct. 17. The injury report was an estimation.
Huddle Up: McConkey has only broken 60 yards once and has just two touchdowns over five games. He's a touchdown-dependent, shot-in-the-dark bye week flex play, at best.

Los Angeles Chargers LB Joey Bosa (hip), CB Kristian Fulton (hamstring), TE Hayden Hurst (groin), WR Quentin Johnston (ankle) and DB Deane Leonard (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday, Oct. 17. Also, WR DJ Chark Jr. (groin), TE Will Dissly (shoulder), WR Simi Fehoko (groin, shoulder), OG Zion Johnson (ankle), WR Ladd McConkey (hip), OT Trey Pipkins (shoulder) and CB Ja'Sir Taylor (fibula) were limited.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Ladd McConkey caught four of his eight targets for 43 yards in a 23-16 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 6.
Huddle Up: McConkey led the Chargers in receptions and targets, and while he appears to be Justin Herbert's top target, the Chargers just aren't throwing the ball enough to make the rookie a reliable fantasy option.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Ladd McConkey had five receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown in a Week 4 defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs. McConkey led the team in all three categories, and he also had a team-high seven targets.
Huddle Up: The rookie seems to be settling in as Justin Herbert's No. 1 target. Granted, it's been a low-volume passing attack, but even within those constraints, McConkey has seen six or more targets in all but one of LA's first four games. The team is on bye next week, which should afford the ailing Herbert to heal up a bit and perhaps lead to a more productive offense in the weeks ahead. As roster depth in the WR5 realm, McConkey offers some upside.
