Pittsburgh Steelers WR Roman Wilson (hamstring), LB Nick Herbig (hamstring) and C Zach Frazier (ankle) did not practice on Saturday, Oct. 26, and were ruled out for Week 8. Also, OT Dylan Cook (foot) practiced in full but was ruled out, LB Tyler Matakevich (hamstring) was limited but was ruled out, RB Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) was limited and is doubtful, RB Najee Harris (rest) and TE MyCole Pruitt (knee) did not practice but carry no designation and S Damontae Kazee (ankle), DB DeShon Elliott (back), CB Donte Jackson (shoulder), OL Isaac Seumalo (rest), DT Keeanu Benton (calf) and DL Cameron Heyward (rest) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Roman Wilson "needs to work for me to really consider him," according to head coach Mike Tomlin.
Huddle Up: Wilson's pro career got off to a bad start with an ankle sprain at the start of training camp and it hasn't got much better since. Despite having only Calvin Austin, Van Jefferson and Scott Miller in front of him, the third-round rookie has managed only five offensive snaps all season (all in Week 6). He is well off the redraft radar.

OT Dylan Cook (foot, knee) was upgraded to a full practice on Friday, Oct. 18, but has also been ruled out. WR Roman Wilson (hamstring) and DT Montravius Adams (knee) were limited in practice on Friday and are listed as questionable. Pittsburgh Steelers WR Roman Wilson is expected to make his NFL debut in Week 6, per sources on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Huddle Up: A 2024 third-round pick, Wilson suffered an ankle injury in training camp that delayed his start to the season, but then he was a healthy scratch for multiple weeks as he continued to get into football shape and get acclimated with the playbook. Wilson isn't likely to have a big role out of the gate and Pittsburgh's offense isn't exactly friendly to wide receivers right now. He can be left on waivers until further notice.
