New Orleans Saints WR Bub Means (ankle) told WWL Radio's Jeff Nowak on Thursday, Feb. 6, that he was cleared in late January from the high-ankle injury he suffered in Week 8 and is now at "full speed."
Huddle Up: With the Saints feeling the injury crunch at receiver early in the season, Means flashed in Week 6 with five catches for 45 yards and a touchdown. That was about as good as it got for the fifth-round rookie, who did not play again after recording a 36-yard catch in Week 8 versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Means has a chance to be the third receiver in New Orleans in 2025 behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, but he will be hard-pressed to be relevant in most leagues unless both struggle with injuries as much as they did this season.

New Orleans Saints WR Bub Means (ankle) had his 21-day practice window expire Wednesday, Dec. 25, and will miss the rest of the 2024 season.

New Orleans Saints QB Derek Carr (hand), RB Alvin Kamara (groin) and WR Bub Means (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 16 at the Green Bay Packers on Monday, Dec. 23. TE Juwan Johnson (foot) and DE Chase Young (illness) fully practiced and don't carry an injury designation. WR Chris Olave (concussion) was limited all week but remains on the Reserve/Injured list and won't play.

New Orleans Saints QB Derek Carr (hand), RB Alvin Kamara (groin), WR Bub Means (ankle), WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (chest, illness) and DE Chase Young (illness) did not practice on Friday, Dec. 20. Also, TE Juwan Johnson (foot) and WR Chris Olave (head) were limited.

New Orleans Saints WR Bub Means (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 19.
Huddle Up: Means had been working his way back from the injury but has not practiced much since having his 21-day practice window opened. He should be avoided in all fantasy leagues until he practices on a consistent basis.

New Orleans Saints WR Bub Means (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 13, and has been ruled out for Week 15.
Huddle Up: Means is trying to work his way back from the injury but is not ready to play yet. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is the main receiver for the Saints at this point and could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues.

New Orleans Saints WR Bub Means (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Huddle Up: Means returned to practice last week and could be available for the Week 15 if he is activated from the Reserve/Injured list before the game. He was productive before the injury but probably will not be a starting option as soon as he returns to the lineup.

RB Kendre Miller (hamstring) practiced in full all week but is listed as questionable. TE Juwan Johnson (foot) was limited all week but no longer appears on the injury report. OL Cesar Ruiz (concussion), OL Erik McCoy (groin), TE Foster Moreau (shoulder), OL Lucas Patrick (calf), DE Tanoh Kpassagnon (Achilles), S Tyrann Mathieu (forearm) and LB Pete Werner (hand) practiced in full on Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.
