New York Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. got the start in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks, and he rumbled for 129 yards on 18 carries with a 1-yard catch on two targets.
Huddle Up: Tracy was getting a start with Devin Singletary nursing a groin injury, and the rookie looked explosive while averaging 7.2 yards per carry. The Giants host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, and Tracy is going to be a hot addition off of the waiver wire going into the new week. If Singletary is sidelined again, Tracy could be a useful RB3 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams on SNF.

New York Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. (ankle) will practice on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Huddle Up: It is great news for the rookie, who was thought to have suffered a serious ankle injury about a week ago. While it is uncertain if Tracy will be limited in his return, he should be able to resume his chase for the primary backup job in short order. Tracy is more than worthy of a late pick in fantasy drafts.

New York Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. (ankle) was spotted running and cutting on a side field while being supervised by training staff on Thursday, Aug. 15.
Huddle Up: Just over 48 hours ago, Tracy was put in an air cast with what was thought to be a serious leg injury. He was eventually diagnosed with a low-ankle sprain. Needless to say, it is great news for Tracy to be already working out in some capacity. The early expectation is that Tracy could return to full practice sometime next week. Fantasy managers are encouraged to continue drafting Tracy in the double-digit rounds, as he has a realistic chance to earn significant reps in the passing game early in his rookie season.

Updating a previous report, New York Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. (ankle) was diagnosed with a right low-ankle sprain and is considered week-to-week. Tracy will wear a protective boot for the foreseeable future, but the injury is not nearly as significant as it appeared when he had his leg placed in an aircast during practice on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

Updating a previous report, New York Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. (leg) was already back in meetings hours after his right leg was placed in an aircast and he was carted off the field on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Huddle Up: Going from an aircast to participating in team meetings is a huge swing in about a four-hour time period. No word has been released on the seriousness of his injury, but the fact he is not in the hospital right now would indicate this might be more of a multi-week injury and not a multi-month injury. Tracy was making a strong push to be Devin Singletary's backup, so perhaps he will get a chance to resume that quest in the coming days.
