Minnesota Vikings RB Ameer Abdullah managed four runs for 27 yards in Week 16 against the Green Bay Packers and he added six receptions for 31 yards on a team-high seven targets.
Huddle Up: Abdullah outshined Mike Boone trying to replace the injured Dalvin Cook, but that's not saying much. He'll look to keep up the good work in the regular-season finale against the Chicago Bears, and he is worth a look as a low-cost DFS option.

The Minnesota Vikings claimed RB Ameer Abdullah off waivers from the Detroit Lions Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Huddle Up: If nothing else, Abdullah provides the Vikings with somewhat of an insurance policy incase Dalvin Cook's injury issues worsen or don't subside. When Cook and Latavius Murray are both healthy, though, Abdullah owns no fantasy value.

Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah had just one reception for six yards on one target in the Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks and he lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: If Abdullah was hoping to cut into Kerryon Johnson's workload, losing a fumble on just one touch wasn't the way to do it. If you've been holding out hope Abdullah might re-emerge as a fantasy option, it's safe to drop him at this point.

Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah is on the roster bubble as the team has a hard decision to make before the 53-man roster deadline, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: Abdullah has a ton of talent and a checkered injury history. He's worth stashing as an RB5 to see where he could wind up.
