Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (knee) had knee surgery on Tuesday, Nov. 29, and will miss the rest of the 2022 season, head coach Arthur Smith said on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
Huddle Up: It was a disappointing sophomore campaign for Pitts, who seemed to lack chemistry with Marcus Mariota. He can be dropped in re-draft leagues but should still be rostered in dynasty formats.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (knee) will have surgery on his injured knee, head coach Arthur Smith confirmed on Wednesday, Nov. 23.
Huddle Up: Pitts, who was placed on IR already, seems like a very long shot to return this season. Unless you have open IR slots you can safely jettison Pitts in all non-keeper formats.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Nov. 21.
Huddle Up: Pitts will have to miss the next four games, but there is a decent chance fantasy managers will not see him on the field again this season. If that is the case, his second NFL season will go down as a highly disappointing one even though head coach Arthur Smith has praised his development as an all-around tight end. Pitts' absence figures to free up a few more targets for Drake London and maybe Damiere Byrd, but Atlanta's passing game has so little volume that it is possible no Falcon benefits all that much.

Updating an earlier report, Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (knee) is believed to have a torn medial collateral ligament that will require surgery after an MRI Monday, Nov. 21. He'll receive a second opinion.
Huddle Up: He was already a TE2 based on performance, and it sounds like he can be dropped in all but dynasty formats. If you can afford to wait for the second opinion, do so before dropping him.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (knee) is believed to have suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in Week 11 and will undergo further testing.
Huddle Up: That could put a wrap on what has been a horrendous sophomore fantasy season for Pitts. Albeit, it wasn't all on him. Hold on to him unless you're covering a bye this week, but be prepared to find another option.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts posted three receptions for a team-high 43 yards on five targets in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 11 game and is considered questionable to return.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see how long Pitts may be sidelined. Players will need other options available in case he misses time.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts was targeted a team-high eight times against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, Nov. 10. He caught two of those passes for 28 yards.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts is expected to see more looks, according to QB Marcus Mariota. "Well, first and foremost, I can do a better job of giving Kyle more opportunities with the ball," Mariota said. "I think sometimes I've been a little too safe, a little too conservative where I'm putting the football, so giving him a chance to go get it. I think that'll help some of his target numbers."
Huddle Up: Pitts is 19th among PPR tight ends with a 46-285-2 line. He should remain owned everywhere based on talent alone, and hopefully he trends upwards the rest of the way.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts had two grabs for a team-high 27 yards in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers on seven targets.
Huddle Up: Pitts had a chance at a long reception down the middle of the field in the fourth quarter, but he and Marcus Mariota couldn't connect. That's a microcosm of the season, as Mariota's mediocre passing and the run-heavy Atlanta offense has really tamped down the fantasy expectations for Pitts.
