Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers connected on 17 of his 33 passing attempts for 146 yards, zero touchdowns, and an interception in a loss to the Houston Texans on Wild Card Weekend. Rodgers was sacked four times and fumbled twice, losing one. RB Jaylen Warren had 12 carries for 43 yards; he added a four-yard reception. RB Kenneth Gainwell picked up 20 yards on six carries, and he also caught four passes for 26 yards. WR DK Metcalf had two receptions for 42 yards; he was targeted five times. WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling logged 26 yards on three receptions. WR Adam Thielen posted two receptions for 25 yards. WR Calvin Austin was held to three catches and eight yards. TE Pat Freiermuth had an 18-yard reception for his lone catch, while TE Jonnu Smith turned two receptions into minus-one yard. LB Patrick Queen led the club with 10 tackles, including seven solo. CB Brandin Echols was credited with three stops and had an interception in the loss.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell had five carries, 10 yards, and a touchdown during the team's Week 18 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Gainwell added eight receptions (on nine targets) for a team-high 64 yards.
Huddle Up: Gainwell was Aaron Rodgers' most popular target on Sunday night, and his work after the catch helped keep the offense moving. The team's decision to get Gainwell more involved on offense was critical to their improvement late in the year, and he should be heavily involved as a check-down target in an effort to blunt the Texans' pass rush. Gainwell would be a nice flex play during the Wild Card round for DFS players.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell carried seven times for 26 yards in a Week 17 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He caught three of four targets for 12 yards.
Huddle Up: Gainwell couldn't shake loose on the ground (130 rush yards the last two weeks) but he posted 3+ receptions for the sixth time in the last seven games (36 receptions, three touchdowns). Gainwell has certainly made a name for himself in fantasy with his two-way potential this season and should be a low-end draft pick next season and a handcuff for Jaylen Warren.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell rushed nine times for 50 yards in Week 16 against the Detroit Lions, while adding five receptions for a game-high 78 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.
Huddle Up: Gainwell has emerged as a huge part of the Pittsburgh offense, especially catching the ball out of the backfield. He has five or more receptions in three in a row, and five of the past six games. He is a strong low-end RB2 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues right now, while he has slightly lesser fantasy appeal in standard formats.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell had 13 carries for 80 yards against the Miami Dolphins in Week 15. Gainwell added seven receptions for 46 yards.
Huddle Up: With Jaylen Warren (illness) battling an illness, Gainwell stepped up, leading the team in carries, receptions, and total yards. The veteran has really come on over the last month-plus, developing into a true complement to Warren and one of Pittsburgh's most dynamic weapons. A lack of touchdowns hurts his overall appeal -- he has only scored in two of his last 10 games -- but he's doing enough to be a quality RB3/flex option that's even approaching RB2 territory.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell carried four times for 15 yards but added six receptions on seven targets for 27 yards in Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Huddle Up: Gainwell has had two games this season where he's topped 100 scrimmage yards but this was not one of them. However, he did reach the 50-reception mark in this one. Because of his duel-threat potential, Gainwell is a good handcuff to have should Jaylen Warren not be able to go at anytime this last month of the season.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell finished with 20 rushing yards on five carries and caught two passes for 25 yards in a 26-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 13.
Huddle Up: Jaylen Warren typically leads the team in carries, but Gainwell has delivered some explosive plays this season, especially in the passing game. He didn't have his best showing against the Bills, but with 15 receptions over the last three games combined, Gainwell has some RB3 potential in PPR formats.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell ran 10 times for 92 yards with a long of 55 in a Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears. He also caught all six of his targets for 30 yards.
Huddle Up: Gainwell caught seven passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns last week against Cincinnati and finished with 105 total yards. He had 122 yards from scrimmage in this one. When given the opportunity this season, Gainwell has produced. In a Week 4 start against the Minnesota Vikings, he ran 19 times for 99 yards and two touchdowns, and caught six passes. If he's available, pick him up and stash him because he's proven he can put up solid fantasy points.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell caught seven passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. He also rushed for 24 yards on nine carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Gainwell has not been a big part of the offense recently but was able to make plays for the Steelers in Week 11. He may be the main running back in Week 12 if Jaylen Warren is not able to play and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in fantasy leagues next week if he sees most of the snaps at the position.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jaylen Warren getting more touches is something head coach Mike Tomlin said he'd like to do. Tomlin said he's comfortable with Warren and RB Kenneth Gainwell on third down, but Warren has been getting a break on third downs. "We win more third downs, Jaylen [Warren] will get more touches," Tomlin said.
Huddle Up: Warren had 14 carries for 70 yards in the Week 10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. His two touchdowns is what is stunting his fantasy prowess, but he's actually the RB11 in PPR leagues the last five weeks. He'll continue to be a high-end RB2 against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11.
