New England Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk (head) was targeted three times without a reception before exiting with a head injury versus the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7.
Huddle Up: Polk, a second-round pick in this year's draft, continues to struggle in the early stages of his pro career, having just 10 receptions through seven games. Doubtless the team would like to see their prized rookie turn things around, but fantasy owners in anything other than dynasty leagues should maintain a safe distance.

New England Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk (head) is considered questionable to return to Week 7's game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.

New England Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk had a single 4-yard catch on four targets in Week 6 against the Houston Texans.

New England Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk had just one catch for 13 yards on six targets in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins.
Huddle Up: The Patriots tried to get Polk the ball, as he had the 2nd-most targets on the team. He also appeared to have a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter, but it was wiped out by a penalty. For now, Polk's production is too erratic to warrant a roster spot in most redraft leagues, but you'll definitely want a place for him in dynasty formats.

New England Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk had three catches 30 yards on a game-high seven targets in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Huddle Up: The Patriots are trying to get the rookie Polk the ball, as he has a ton of upside. But, he and Jacoby Brissett just haven't been on the same page, and Polk is barely worth a roster spot out of deeper fantasy leagues, as well as dynasty formats.

New England Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk had two catches (on two targets) for 13 yards against the New York Jets on Thursday, Sept. 19.
Huddle Up: Outside of a touchdown grab in Week 2, the second-round pick hasn't done much through his first three games, logging a combined 31 yards on five receptions. Given how anemic the New England passing game looks right now, Polk doesn't hold any appreciable value outside of keeper formats.

New England Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk went for two receptions for 12 yards and his first NFL touchdown on three targets in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Huddle Up: It's fitting Polk's first NFL score came against a team from Seattle, where he starred in college for the University of Washington. Anyway, in order to see more fantasy relevance, he needs more touches and targets. For now, he is best used in dynasty leagues, while only worth a roster spot in deeper redraft leagues.

New England Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk had just one reception for six yards on his lone target in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Huddle Up: Polk had been working with the starters in practice leading up to the game, but he was behind K.J. Osborn, Tyquan Thornton and DeMario Douglas in the pecking order for targets among wide receivers, and he also has veteran TEs Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper to contend with. Polk is a player with upside with a spot in dynasty leagues, but for redraft leagues he isn't playable at the moment. The Patriots host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2.
