Cleveland Browns WRs Rashard Higgins, Damion Ratley, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge are the candidates for the No. 3 receiver job entering training camp, according to wide receiver coach Chad O'Shea. RB Kareem Hunt could also be an option for the job.
Huddle Up: Higgins could have a small edge in the competition at this point since he has shown some chemistry with Baker Mayfield. Fantasy players can monitor the situation during training camp to see who wins the job. None of the receivers likely will be big fantasy options and can be avoided in some leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins has a good chance to win the No. 3 receiver job during training camp in part because of his chemistry with QB Baker Mayfield, in the opinion of The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot. Higgins likely will compete with WR Donovan Peoples-Jones for the job.
Huddle Up: Higgins is coming off a disappointing 2019 season but did post 572 yards and four touchdowns in 2018. Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation, but Higgins probably can be avoided in most drafts even if he wins the job.

Free-agent WR Rashard Higgins (Browns) reached agreement on a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns Tuesday, April 28, according to a league source. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Huddle Up: Higgins can be expected to reprise his role as the No. 3 receiver behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. He played 10 games last season but made just one start, and finished the year with four receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown. He racked up 572 yards and four scores in 2018, before the addition of Beckham, but he won't be a fantasy consideration in 2020 unless Beckham or Landry were to miss an extended amount of time.

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins finished with one catch for a seven-yard touchdown in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills on his only target.
Huddle Up: As long as Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. remain healthy, Higgins has a rather minor role in the offense. Despite the touchdown Higgins isn't worth using outside of the very deepest of fantasy leagues heading into Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.
