Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (Achilles) said he felt like himself during offseason workouts and believes he is back to running at full speed after missing the 2023 season because of an Achilles tendon injury.

Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (Achilles) is "a great teammate" that the team has "an idea or vision for," according to head coach Sean Payton earlier this week. "(He brings) those intangibles. I do know and obviously have seen (his) healthy tape. Granted I wasn't here, but I kind of have an idea or vision for the player. Then all the other things that he brings relative to his competitiveness, his versatility. He's a great teammate. I think he's an important part of the locker room, so it's good to see him more and be smart with that," Payton said.
Huddle Up: It is hard to read too much into anything said during offseason practices. With that said, Patrick has consistently made a solid impression on multiple coaching staffs - only to have his season derailed by a serious injury multiple times. If this is finally the season he can stay relatively healthy, then he warrants consideration as a WR5 in fantasy at the very least. There is a small possibility that a healthy Patrick will lead this team in receiving in 2024.

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (Achilles) has been diagnosed with a complete tear of his Achilles tendon after undergoing an MRI, according to a source. He will miss the entire 2023 season.
Huddle Up: Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton will be the main options in the passing game again this season and should be starting options in most fantasy leagues. Marvin Mims could receive a solid role during his rookie season but can be avoided most weeks.

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (Achilles) suffered an injury to his left Achilles during practice Monday, July 31.
Huddle Up: Fantasy managers know the deal by now. If imaging tests show that Patrick tore his Achilles, he will be done for the year. Either way, rookie Marvin Mims is set up to be a critical part of the early-season plan for Denver now and should be viewed as a WR5 with upside.

Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (leg) suffered a non-contact left leg injury during practice Monday, July 31. Patrick was in considerable pain and visibly frustrated before he was carted off the field.
Huddle Up: Most fantasy managers likely remember Patrick missed all of last season with a torn ACL in his right knee. Head coach Sean Payton will likely give an update on this injury following his post-practice interview with reporters later in the day, but this report suggests Patrick could be out a while. If that ends up being the case, rookie Marvin Mims will almost certainly have a fantasy-relevant role right away.
