Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (knee) told former WR Steve Smith on the "Cut To It" podcast that he has been cleared to do everything after recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Patrick said he's working to rebuild his route-running mechanics because of the pressure certain routes put on his healing knee.
Huddle Up: Patrick could be an unheralded WR5 to bank on in fantasy drafts this season. He suffered the injury last August and will have more than a full year removed from it.

Huddle Up: Fantasy managers will need to hold their collective breath for a bit as one of their favorite late-round picks gets checked out. Courtland Sutton appears to have an edge on the group for WR1 duties in Denver, but there has been plenty of speculation that Patrick is pushing Jerry Jeudy to be Russell Wilson's second-favorite target. Patrick's status will be updated once the results of his imaging tests are revealed.

Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick is "poised for a monster season" now that he has QB Russell Wilson in the mix and an offense that "plays to his strengths," writes Ian St. Clair of Mile High Report.

Huddle Up: Patrick has posted back-to-back 700-yard seasons but will have a lot of competition for targets, with Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton and KJ Hamler also in the mix. Still, he could provide value as a solid flex option some weeks, and he could become a WR2 if Sutton or Jeudy miss time.
