Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (Achilles) has been diagnosed with a complete tear of his Achilles tendon after undergoing an MRI, according to a source. He will miss the entire 2023 season.
Huddle Up: Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton will be the main options in the passing game again this season and should be starting options in most fantasy leagues. Marvin Mims could receive a solid role during his rookie season but can be avoided most weeks.

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (Achilles) suffered an injury to his left Achilles during practice Monday, July 31.
Huddle Up: Fantasy managers know the deal by now. If imaging tests show that Patrick tore his Achilles, he will be done for the year. Either way, rookie Marvin Mims is set up to be a critical part of the early-season plan for Denver now and should be viewed as a WR5 with upside.

Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (leg) suffered a non-contact left leg injury during practice Monday, July 31. Patrick was in considerable pain and visibly frustrated before he was carted off the field.
Huddle Up: Most fantasy managers likely remember Patrick missed all of last season with a torn ACL in his right knee. Head coach Sean Payton will likely give an update on this injury following his post-practice interview with reporters later in the day, but this report suggests Patrick could be out a while. If that ends up being the case, rookie Marvin Mims will almost certainly have a fantasy-relevant role right away.

Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick (knee) told former WR Steve Smith on the "Cut To It" podcast that he has been cleared to do everything after recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Patrick said he's working to rebuild his route-running mechanics because of the pressure certain routes put on his healing knee.
Huddle Up: Patrick could be an unheralded WR5 to bank on in fantasy drafts this season. He suffered the injury last August and will have more than a full year removed from it.

Huddle Up: KJ Hamler probably will see a bigger role in the passing game with Patrick out for the season. He is working his way back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament but has a good chance to be ready for Week 1. He could be a late round option in deeper leagues.

Huddle Up: The Broncos likely will have Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler as their top three receivers with Patrick sidelined. Sutton and Jeudy can be starting options in fantasy leagues, while Hamler could be a spot starter in some leagues.
