Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield completed 16-of-23 passes for 156 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 3 against the Washington Football Team.
Huddle Up: Mayfield hasn't rolled up huge passing yardage totals, but he has two touchdown throws in each of his past two outings. As such he is solidly in the middle of the QB2 conversation in most fantasy leagues. The Browns travel to meet Dallas in Week 4.

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield completed 16 of 23 passes for 219 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception during the team's Week 2 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Huddle Up: For at least one week, Cleveland's offense ran through the duo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt with Mayfield primarily operating as a game manager, particularly in the second half -- his final pass of the game came with 11: 33 left in the fourth and was intercepted. Now the question becomes whether this was attacking a weakness unique to Cincinnati, which finished 2019 dead last against the run, or if it's a new area of focus to emphasize the run game. If it's the latter, Mayfield's already marginal value could take another hit.

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield completed 21-of-39 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens. He also ran twice for three yards.
Huddle Up: It was a forgettable performance for the Browns in Week 1, like it usually is. They haven't won straight up in Week 1 since 2004. Mayfield will look for better results for his fantasy owners in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night.

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield said Friday, Aug. 14, he 'lost myself' in 2019 and started doubting himself after a couple of sub-par performances. Mayfield, though, said Friday that's in the past. 'In a much better state, mentally, physically. Just ready to roll,' Mayfield told reporters at training camp. 'Back to where I need to be to be the leader.'
Huddle Up: Drafted as a breakout No. 1 QB last season, Mayfield stumbled badly, throwing for five fewer touchdowns and seven more interceptions than he did as a rookie in 2018. He should bounce back the other way some in 2020, but he's still figures to wind up as a QB2 when all's said and done.

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield threw seven interceptions on throws that traveled at least 20 yards during the 2019 season.
Huddle Up: Mayfield will be working in a new offense this season and will have one of the top groups of pass catchers to work with in the NFL. He has a chance to be a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues in 2020.

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield has been discouraged to work out with teammates in effort to limit the chance of contracting and spreading COVID-19, head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters during a Thursday, June 25, Zoom call.
Huddle Up: While it would be nice for all of the receiving targets and Mayfield to continue to build chemistry, having an on-field rapport does nothing for fantasy footballers if the grouping isn't actually on the field together. Mayfield has a talented crop of weapons at his disposal, but the offense will rely heavily on the ground game and require Mayfield to become extremely efficient for his stats to stand out in fantasy.

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield has been streamlining his footwork this offseason over virtual calls, according to offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt. Van Pelt said he wants his quarterbacks using West Coast footwork, and he has gotten Mayfield to remove a giant stagger step from his dropbacks.
Huddle Up: Mayfield took 40 sacks last season - up from 25 in 14 games in 2019 - so improved rhythm could help keep him upright in 2020. Quicker throws could also lead to a higher completion percentage after he dropped from 63.8 percent to 59.4 percent from his rookie to sophomore season.

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield has been buying into the ways of new head coach Kevin Stefanski. The third-year quarterback has been 'moving in silence,' which is a dramatic change for the normally outspoken Mayfield. He was asked to tone down his rhetoric by Stefanski, and Mayfield has taken it to heart, which some around the team view as a sign of improving maturity.
Huddle Up: Look for a bunch of play-action passing from Mayfield, and we've already seen reports about him working on his footwork in relation to this emphasized aspect of the new offense. In 2020, if Mayfield fails, it won't be for a lack of weaponry. Stefanski has been able to get the most out of his quarterbacks in Minnesota, although we haven't see huge fantasy returns as a result. Nevertheless, Mayfield will be tasked with being more efficient, and that will go a long way in keeping him useful on a weekly basis.

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield said he has been working on a change to his footwork that offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt asked him to try out. He said he is getting more comfortable with the new footwork.
Huddle Up: Mayfield is coming off a disappointing 2019 season but will still have a lot of weapons to work with in the passing game. Fantasy players should consider Mayfield a No. 2 quarterback at this point, but he has a chance to be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback if he improves his play.
