Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins caught five passes for 83 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 11. He was targeted six times during the game.
Huddle Up: Akins posted his season-high in yards against the Patriots but has posted at least 50 yards in only two games in 2020. He likely will see a handful of targets next week, but fantasy players probably will be able to find better options for their lineups.

Updating previous reports, Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins (concussion/ankle), RB Buddy Howell (hamstring) and LB Peter Kalambayi (hamstring) will not travel to face the Tennessee Titans in Week 6 and have been ruled out.

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins (ankle, concussion) will not play in Week 5's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Huddle Up: Akins had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in two of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. TE Darren Fells is expected to start in his place this afternoon and makes an adequate bye-week replacement in deeper fantasy leagues. When healthy, Akins should be viewed as a low-end TE1 option in most formats.

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins (ankle, concussion) didn't participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 7.
Huddle Up: Akins has caught 14 of his 15 targets through four games and is a reliable low-end TE1. He's a top streaming option most weeks if available on the waiver wire.

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins ended up with three catches for 46 yards on three targets in Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Huddle Up: Akins is the top tight end in Houston, but he is still more of a low-end TE2 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins (concussion) suffered a concussion during the Week 4 game and has been ruled out.

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins had two catches, 39 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: Granted, Akins' touchdown should not have counted, but hey, the officials didn't have a preseason either. The third-year pro has shown flashes of being a weapon. He's never been able to show sustained production, however. Akins' upside does make him someone worth watching.

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins has made a couple of big catches for first downs and in the end zone and is having a strong camp, according to John Harris of HoustonTexans.com.
Huddle Up: Akins set career highs with 36 catches on 55 targets for 418 yards and two touchdowns in 2020. The Texans' new-look receiving corps and the thin nature of the tight end position will make Akins a low-end TE1 option in all formats.

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins has been working out with teammates this offseason and has been catching passes from QB Deshaun Watson.
