Huddle Up: Akins has been targeted 16 times over the last three games but has posted at least 50 yards in only one of those games. He will see a few targets next week but can be avoided in most leagues.

Huddle Up: Akins has played well at times this season but has been held to 20 yards or less in four of the previous five games. He will have a favorable matchup next week and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in some deeper leagues but is not a must-start option.

Huddle Up: Akins posted his season-high in yards against the Patriots but has posted at least 50 yards in only two games in 2020. He likely will see a handful of targets next week, but fantasy players probably will be able to find better options for their lineups.

Updating previous reports, Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins (concussion/ankle), RB Buddy Howell (hamstring) and LB Peter Kalambayi (hamstring) will not travel to face the Tennessee Titans in Week 6 and have been ruled out.

Houston Texans TE Jordan Akins (ankle, concussion) will not play in Week 5's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Huddle Up: Akins had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in two of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. TE Darren Fells is expected to start in his place this afternoon and makes an adequate bye-week replacement in deeper fantasy leagues. When healthy, Akins should be viewed as a low-end TE1 option in most formats.
