Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth absorbed all four of his targets for 36 yards in Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Huddle Up: The rookie was busy, while veteran Eric Ebron had no stats on two targets. Freiermuth has more upside, and he could be even busier if Diontae Johnson has a serious injury. The wideout left on the final play of the game. There could be plenty more targets to be spread around in Week 3 if Johnson is out.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth posted one reception for 24 yards on one target in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Freiermuth is a good looking rookie with a ton of upside, but veteran Eric Ebron is also in the mix. Ben Roethlisberger loves to use the tight end, but right now Freiermuth is only worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues and long-term keeper formats. The Steelers welcome the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2.

Pittsburgh Steelers second-round pick TE Pat Freiermuth (Penn State) signed a four-year contract Monday, May 24. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
Huddle Up: Freiermuth is unlikely to have much fantasy impact as a rookie considering he will be fighting for targets with Diontae Johnson, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool, Eric Ebron and Najee Harris. However, he is easily worth taking a shot on in the late second round of rookie drafts.

Penn State TE Pat Freiermuth was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 55th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: The Steelers have Eric Ebron as their starting tight end, but Freiermuth likely will take over the job in a year or two. He can be a valuable option in keeper leagues but probably can be avoided in most standard leagues.
