Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski said he is around 257 pounds at this point and expects to play at 260 to 265 pounds this upcoming season. He was at 240 pounds during his retirement.
Huddle Up: Gronkowski is joining a crowded tight end corp with the Bucs but should be the starter because of his relationship with Tom Brady. He has struggled with injuries in the past but can be a No. 1 fantasy tight end if he can stay healthy.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski told reporters Wednesday, April 22, he's currently 250 pounds and hasn't lost as much weight as people think.
Huddle Up: Gronkowski has been out of football for over a year, but it appears he's still in game shape and may not show as much rust as initially thought. Coupled with having the time to heal up old injuries, Gronk will still be a physical force and is instantly one of the top fantasy options in the tight end pool.

Updating an ongoing story, Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski (Patriots) passed his physical Tuesday, April 21, and the trade is now complete, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Gronk's return makes him an automatic TE1 in his age-31 season, albeit in an offense that has struggled to make tight ends relevant in fantasy over the years. None of those tight ends were Gronkowski, though. His year off should help in recharging the batteries, and he shouldn't need time to get up to speed with Tom Brady.

Huddle Up: Gronkowski is a clear TE1 and will be one of the position's top options in a reunion with QB Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. His addition will likely slightly decrease the values of WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Updating a previous story, retired TE Rob Gronkowski has already taken his physical with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is waiting for his trade from the New England Patriots to be finalized.
Huddle Up: O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate are the current tight ends on the Buccaneers' roster, but it's expected either one could be involved in the deal with the Patriots. Gronkowski would instantly become one of the top TE options in fantasy in a reunion with QB Tom Brady.
