New York Giants WR Darius Slayton logged three receptions, 54 yards and a touchdown during the team's Week 2 loss to the Washington Football Team. Slayton was targeted six times.
Huddle Up: While Slayton's 33-yard touchdown grab put the G-Men on top in the third quarter, all most people will remember was the long ball from Daniel Jones to an uncovered Slayton that the third-year pro couldn't haul in. Some may put the onus on Jones and call it an overthrow, but regardless of how you assign blame it was one they had to have. Through two weeks, Slayton has caught just six of his 13 targeted balls and is currently floating on the edges of being worth owning in most leagues as a fifth or sixth receiver.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton was good for 65 receiving yards on three grabs in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos. He was targeted seven times.
Huddle Up: Slayton was second in receiving yards behind Sterling Shepard (7-113-1), and just ahead of Kenny Golladay (4-64-0). Slayton remains more of a WR6 and fantasy reserve in most leagues. The Giants travel to meet Washington in Week 2 on Thursday.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton (ankle, foot) will not return to the preseason game against the New England Patriots Sunday, Aug. 29.
Huddle Up: If Slayton ends up missing time, rookie Kadarius Toney, assuming he is back from his own injury, could be leaned on to stretch the field and make a quicker impact than expected.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton ended up with two receptions for 26 yards on eight targets in Week 16 against the Baltimore Ravens.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton had four receptions for 74 yards in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns.
Huddle Up: After managing just 45 yards in his three previous games combined, Slayton led the Giants on Sunday night in yards and targets (nine) while matching two others in receptions. Slayton started strong this season before cooling considerably with his game against the Browns marking just his second outing with 60-plus receiving yards in his last nine. While Slayton offers a little upside in Week 16, his lack of consistency makes him a desperation play.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton ended up with three catches for 31 yards on eight targets in Week 14 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Huddle Up: Daniel Jones tried to get it into Slayton's hands, as the eight targets were his most since Week 8, but the duo just couldn't connect. Slayton is only worth starting in deeper fantasy leagues at this critical juncture of the season. The Giants host the Browns in Week 15.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton had one reception for 14 yards in a Week 13 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Huddle Up: Slayton is still the team's best deep threat, but that was never going to be Colt McCoy's forte so it's no surprise his production was nominal. If Daniel Jones is back in Week 14, Slayton could be a risky flex play. If it's McCoy again, Slayton belongs on the bench.

Huddle Up: Slayton was held without a catch last week, and his role this week is uncertain with Colt McCoy expected to start. He can be a flex option in some leagues, but fantasy players can consider benching him if they have other options available.
