New York Giants WR Darius Slayton rarely worked with the first-team offense in live drills during spring practices and generally struggled to catch passes, in the opinion of NJ.com's Zack Rosenblatt. Per Rosenblatt, the Giants would save $2.54 million by releasing or trading him.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Jan. 6.
Huddle Up: Slayton could be one of the starting receivers this week if Kadarius Toney is not available to play. He probably will see a few targets if he is cleared to play and can be avoided in all leagues.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton (illness, shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 5. The Giants did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Slayton has been targeted at least five times in three of his last six games but has been held to under 50 yards in each of the last five games. He should be avoided in all leagues.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton posted a grab for seven yards on five targets in Week 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Huddle Up: The Giants tried to get the ball to Slayton, but Jake Fromm and Mike Glennon were each inaccurate. As such, Slayton's fantasy appeal heading into Week 17 and beyond is nearly non-existent.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton posted two grabs for 23 yards on three targets in Week 15 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Huddle Up: Slayton hasn't done very much in recent weeks, but he could have an opportunity at a larger role down the stretch, as Sterling Shepard suffered a torn Achilles' tendon. Still, he shouldn't be treated as anything more than a WR5 in deeper leagues at this point.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton finished with three grabs for 40 yards on four targets in Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Huddle Up: Slayton actually had his most production since he had 63 yards against the Carolina Panthers in Week 7. He is still only worth a look as a WR5 or WR6 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 13 at Miami.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton had four grabs for 37 yards on seven targets in Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he also lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: The fumble killed most of his fantasy production, at least in leagues which penalize miscues. The seven targets were nice, and hopefully the fumble doesn't cause HC Joe Judge to go another way and limit Slayton's targets in Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton did not have any receptions on two targets in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: Slayton was active, but he didn't appear to be 100 percent. The Giants wideout corps is really banged up right now. With several injuries to other wideouts, Slayton has the chance at a larger role if he can stay healthy himself. The Giants host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Slayton has posted 190 yards in four games and could receive a bigger role if he is moved to another team. Fantasy players can monitor the situation because Slayton could be a flex option if he is traded.
