Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard carried the ball three times for 13 yards in Week 6 against the New York Jets.
Huddle Up: Once again the Cowboys fell way behind and had to scramble to catch up, which meant keeping Elliott on the field most of the time. Despite some talent, Pollard just isn't getting the looks right now to be more than a handcuff for Elliott owners.

Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard (knee/ankle) practiced in full Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Huddle Up: Pollard rushed just four times for 19 yards in the Cowboys' Week 5 loss against the Green Bay Packers. His usage depends on game flow and he'll require the Cowboys to have large leads in order to get on the field consistently. He's a flex play in soft matchups.

Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard rushed four times for 19 yards against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Oct. 6.
Huddle Up: Pollard has done almost nothing the past two weeks, but next Sunday's matchup with the Jets could present an opportunity similar to the one he had against the Dolphins in Week 3 when Pollard ran for 103 yards and a score. It'd be a risky move to slide the rookie into your flex slot, but Pollard's Week 6 upside is genuine.

Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard did not log a single carry or reception against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4.
Huddle Up: Tonight served as a reminder that Pollard is not a complement to Elliott but a pure backup. When Dallas is dominating on the ground, Pollard will get some looks, but in a tight contest he'll be an afterthought. As such, Pollard is no more than a handcuff for Elliott owners.

Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard rushed 13 times for 103 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins and he added three receptions for 25 yards on his three targets.
Huddle Up: As long as Ezekiel Elliott is healthy then Pollard's fantasy ceiling is rather limited, but he saw some extensive work in the second half in a game that started getting out of hand. If Pollard is to see playing time with Zeke healthy, it will be in blowouts, and that's too hard to predict. He remains nothing more than a handcuff to Elliott at this point, but he did show what he can do if ever called upon.

Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard rushed six times for a team-high 26 yards and caught both of his targets for 10 yards in a 34-0 preseason win over the Houston Texans Saturday, Aug. 24.
Huddle Up: The Cowboys front office continues to express confidence that a deal will be worked out with Ezekiel Elliott before the start of the regular season, but Elliott owners should still have Pollard ready as an insurance policy.

Dallas Cowboys fourth-round RB Tony Pollard is expected to play an important role on offense and special teams right away, according to chief operating officer Stephen Jones.
'It's a little unfair - he's certainly not at that level, don't get me wrong - but a little (Alvin) Kamara to him, as to how he (complemented Mark) Ingram down in New Orleans. He can play flyer on special teams, he can return kicks; he can do all that. But what excites me the most is his home run threat as a running back. He can get in there and take some of the snaps off Zeke, which I think Zeke needs at times, and when he walks in there, he's going to be a problem when defenses are looking at him. He's a sub-4.40 guy,' Jones said.
