Miami Dolphins RB Brandon Bolden rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns on two carries against the New England Patriots in Week 14.
Huddle Up: Bolden has received only three carries this season and probably will not see much playing time behind Frank Gore and Kenyan Drake. He should not be a starting option in any leagues despite his performance.

New England Patriots RBs Brandon Bolden, Mike Gillislee and Jeremy Hill might be competing for one spot with the chance one gets cut even before training camp.
Huddle Up: Hill signed a one-year deal with the team in the offseason and has reportedly been making a positive impression, and he is just 25 years old. With rookie Sony Michel joining the mix with Rex Burkhead and James White in the fold, too, someone will be out of a job.

New England Patriots RB Brandon Bolden is expected to take over RB Dion Lewis' (knee) role in the backfield with him out for the season. Bolden had a touchdown catch in the Week 9 win over the Washington Redskins.
Huddle Up: Owners have run to grab Bolden before only to get burned. He's a core special teams player for the Patriots but with only James White on the roster, Bolden should see his role finally expanded. LeGarrette Blount is the one who really benefits with Dion Lewis out for the season.

New England Patriots RB Brandon Bolden signed a two-year extension Friday, Jan. 9. He'll have salaries of $660,000 and $760,000 in 2015-16. He received a $300,000 signing bonus and has roster bonuses of $200,000 and $350,000. He'll also have a $25,000 workout bonus each year.
Huddle Up: Odd, including the timing, to say the least. Bolden's raw stats certainly didn't earn him the new deal as he rushed for only 89 yards and a TD on 28 carries while catching two passes for 8 yards -- all career lows for the third-year back. But, hey, the Patriots keep winning so who's to quibble with the formula at this point?

New England Patriots RB Brandon Bolden is expected to be cut from the team, in the opinion of beat writer Erik Frenz.
Huddle Up: Bolden has rushed for 274 and 271 yards, respectively, over the past two seasons while scoring 5 TDs but he's still solidly behind Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen on the depth chart with the team also spending a fourth-round pick on Wisconsin back James White.

The New England Patriots have declared CB Alfonzo Dennard, RB Brandon Bolden, OG Chris Barker, DL Jake Bequette, RB Leon Washington, SS Steve Gregory, LB Steve Beauharnais inactive for Week 11.
Huddle Up: With Shane Vereen's activation, the Pats' backfield was going to be even more crowded than usual, but the team has decided to go with Ridley, LeGarrette Blount and Vereen as their primary RBs Monday night. Bolden has scored in 2 of his past 3 games, but only had 3 rushes for 36 yards in the Pats' last game in Week 9.

The New England Patriots have declared RB Brandon Bolden, DL Chris D. Jones, WR Danny Amendola, TE Rob Gronkowski, LB Steve Beauharnais, OT Will Svitek, TE Zach Sudfeld inactive for Week 2.
Huddle Up: Many thought Bolden would be part of the Pats' RB solution with Shane Vereen landing on IR this week, but his nagging knee injury apparently is proving too bothersome. On the flip side, it's good news for Steven Ridley's and LeGarrette Blount's fantasy owners and those who took a flier on Leon Washington.

New England Patriots RB Brandon Bolden (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Sept 11, and is questionable for Week 2.
Huddle Up: He might be the best alternative to Shane Vereen at this point. Keep an eye on his situation.

New England Patriots RB Brandon Bolden (knee) was inactive in Week 1 due to a knee injury, but he could be a top candidate to replace RB Shane Vereen (wrist) as the team's 'passing back.'
Huddle Up: Bolden has been hampered by the nagging knee issue all offseason, and it might be a stretch to think he's suddenly ready to assume a major role. Leon Washington, re-signed Saturday, might be the more viable -- and healthier -- option for the time being.
