Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams caught four of his six targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9.
Huddle Up: A week after being held without a catch, Williams had one of his better outings of the season. He has now topped 60 yards and scored in two of the last three games, and he may finally be rediscovering his role in the offense. For now, Williams can be considered a boom-or-bust flex option.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams faces the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9, and Williams managed a combined seven catches for 30 yards in two meetings with Minnesota last season.
Huddle Up: Williams has endured a miserable 2025 season, and while offensive coordinator John Morton recently said he needs to do a better job of involving Williams in the offense, that could be easier said than done. Williams struggled to make an impact against Minnesota during his 1,000-yard campaign last year, so banking on a breakout performance from him this weekend is a risky proposition.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams met with offensive coordinator John Morton to discuss how to have Williams become more involved in the offense. "So I looked at everything, and I failed him," Morton said. "That's what I told him. I have to do a better job with that."
Huddle Up: Williams has just 17 receptions all year, and he was held without a catch the last time out. After topping 1,000 yards and emerging as a big-play weapon last season, Williams has faded into obscurity within the Detroit offense. It remains to be seen if the Lions will be more intentional about involving Williams, and in the meantime, he is an all-or-nothing flex option.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams went without a reception on just two targets in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Huddle Up: It was a defensive slog, with the Lions scratching out a 24-9 win, with two rushing scores and one passing TD to Amon-Ra St. Brown. Still, there were other receivers who had decent yardage totals, while Williams disappeared. It was a bummer for fantasy managers, and Williams has been a big-time boom-or-bust option this season. You won't need to worry about rolling the dice with him in Week 8, as Detroit has its bye week.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams caught six passes for a team-high 66 yards and a touchdown in a 30-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6.
Huddle Up: It has been a rough start to the year for Williams, and his Week 6 performance was the first time that he has had more than two receptions in a game since the season opener. Fantasy owners can only hope that this is a sign of things to come.

Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams caught his only target for nine yards in a 37-24 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5.
Huddle Up: Williams continues to be an afterthought in the Detroit offense, and after five games, he has just 11 catches. Instead of making a leap and becoming a legitimate WR2, Williams is heading for the worst year of his career. He is always one snap away from a big plays, but at this point, fantasy owners may want to consider steadier options.
