New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave agreed to a four-year rookie deal worth $19.27 million, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN on Friday, May 13. The Saints have a fifth-year option on the fully guaranteed contract.
Huddle Up: Olave should step in as the complement to WR Michael Thomas almost immediately. The first-round pick has WR3/4 value in fantasy with plenty of upside if he's able to capture a starting role by Week 1.

New Orleans Saints first-round pick Chris Olave was the most NFL-ready receiver in the NFL Draft, according to multiple general managers. He ran a 40-yard dash under 4.4 seconds, is a tough, precise route-runner and is consistently productive.
Huddle Up: Olave had a 48-840-12 season as a sophomore in 2019 and a 65-936-13 season in two fewer games as a senior at Ohio State. He doesn't have a big injury history, and Michael Thomas' potential return would only be a good thing. He's a high-end WR3 with upside as a rookie.

Ohio State WR Chris Olave was selected by the New Orleans Saints with the 11th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Olave should compete for the No. 2 receiver job with the Saints in his rookie season. He should receive a decent amount of targets each game and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

The Arizona Cardinals are likely to miss out on its top-three wide receiver targets in the 2022 NFL Draft -- Ohio State's Chris Olave, USC's Drake London, and Ohio State's Garrett Wilson -- with the 23rd overall selection, according to Pro Football Network's Tony Pauline. In his opinion, the 'obvious choices' for Arizona to draft with that pick are Boston College OG Zion Johnson and Texas A&M OL Kenyon Green, but Houston DL Logan Hall could be a surprise selection. Pauline also said Cincinnati WR Alec Pierce may be a target of the Cardinals in Round 2 if the team cannot land a receiver of its choice in the first round.

The Kansas City Chiefs could use both of its first-round picks on defensive players, sources tell Pro Football Network's Tony Pauline. If the Chiefs cannot trade up for Alabama WR Jameson Williams (knee) and Ohio State WR Chris Olave is not available, sources tell Pauline Washington CB Kyler Gordon will be seriously considered with one of those choices -- 29th and 30th overall. Cincinnati WR Alec Pierce could be in play for Kansas City in Round 2 if the team misses out on a receiver of choice in the first round.
