New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave ranked 10th in the NFL with 82.5 receiving yards per game after QB Tyler Shough took over as the starting quarterback in Week 9.
Huddle Up: Despite missing the final game of the season with a blood clot, Olave set career highs across the board in 2025, finishing with 100 receptions on 156 targets for 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns. He ranked inside the top 10 in the NFL in all of those categories, and he needs to be considered a WR2 heading into 2026 drafts.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave (illness) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 2, and has been ruled out for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Olave is dealing with a medical issue but should not be sidelined for an extended period of time. He likely will participate in some offseason workouts. Dante Pettis and Kevin Austin are in line to be the starting receivers for the Saints in Week 18 but should only be possible flex options in deeper leagues. Juwan Johnson should see a few more targets and can be a starting option in all leagues.

Huddle Up: Olave should have a good chance to return to practice if he can recover from the illness in the next day or two. He is the main option in the Saints passing game and will be a starting option in all leagues if active.

New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave posted game highs with eight receptions, 119 yards and 11 targets in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans, and he also scored a touchdown.
Huddle Up: Olave gave fantasy managers a scare, carrying a questionable tag into the game due to a back injury. But, he was able to lead many to a fantasy championship with 18 receptions for 267 yards and three touchdowns on 27 targets in the past two games. He'll head into 2026 as a legit QB1 in fantasy leagues, especially after a full summer and training camp to establish further rapport with Tyler Shough.
