Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Cade Otton (quadriceps) was a full participant in practice for the second-straight day on Friday, Dec. 30, and was removed from the injury report for Week 17.
Huddle Up: Otton has shown promise this season but has been about as inconsistent as the rest of his Bucs teammates. Like the majority of the tight ends in the TE2 pile, Otton is a dart throw for Week 17.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Carlton Davis (shoulder) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Week 17 against the Carolina Panthers. CB Jamel Dean (toe) was upgraded to a full practice Friday, Dec. 30, but is also listed as questionable. LB Lavonte David (rest) and DE Akiem Hicks (rest) did not practice Friday but are expected to play. LB Anthony Nelson (illness), TE Cade Otton (quad), OT Tristan Wirfs (ankle), DE Rakeem Nunez-Roches (personal) and QB Tom Brady (rest) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Cade Otton (quadriceps) was a full participant in practice on Thursday, Dec. 29, after being limited the day before.
Huddle Up: After looking like he might become an every-week factor at the tight end position earlier this season, Otton has quieted down over the last three weeks with the Bucs struggling mightily through the air. Like most in the TE2 group overall, Otton is no more than a boom-or-bust option in Week 17.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Cade Otton registered a 20-yard catch on his only target in Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Posted: 12/12/2022 1:48 am GMT
Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Cade Otton caught four of his five targets for 28 yards in a 35-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14.
Huddle Up: Otton has emerged as a Tampa Bay's top tight end, but he has been largely limited to short, underneath routes. He is an intriguing option in dynasty formats, but he doesn't have enough upside to be a weekly starting option at this point.
